Great spot! The food was delicious and affordable. We got a carne asada burrito, piña colada margarita, and horchata—all so good. Staff were super friendly and the service was quick. Definitely recommend!

Stopped in for Taco Tuesday and had a mixed experience. There was some confusion about the advertised $4 taco special — when I asked, the bartender didn’t seem aware of it and I was charged $5 per taco. Ordered the Carne Asada tacos, which came with two tacos for $10. It would help if staff were aligned on current promotions.
Service felt disorganized. The original bartender stepped away for an extended period without communication, and during that time my tacos sat in the kitchen window for quite a while before being brought out. I also had to initiate closing out after waiting at the bar.
Also ordered one of the $7 margaritas which was sweeter than expected and not very strong at all. The tacos were on the smaller side and didn’t have much filling, which made the $5 price point feel a bit high for what was served.
Not a terrible visit overall, but there’s definitely room for improvement in communication, attentiveness, and value.

Couldn’t find a place to get in contact so guess I’m leaving a review… We were excited to try the vegetarian options here, the online menu had a ton listed. Unfortunately, what’s actually available to order is far more limited.
We ordered the mushroom mole burrito and fried avocado taco for takeout. The burrito was a nice size but surprisingly lacking in flavour. Good tortilla though.
The taco was… not avocado. We received a chicken taco that we were unable to eat and did not find this out until biting into it (it was breaded). This was a real bummer. Would love a refund to try to come back but for now, it seems this is not a new regular place for us.

First time here yesterday 7/3/24 to my surprised this spot was very good. Order a few items off the menu all were excellent in presentation and in quality. The mole tacos were amazing in taste. The only thing I like my food pipping hot it was a bit table warm don’t know why but will request my food to be super hot next time.

Decent food and prices. Visited during the middle of the day for a late lunch and they were out of pastor. Ordered the Coca Cola burrito instead. It had decent flavor but I wasn’t very impressed. The presentation looks nice. The service was ok but the food took forever to arrive. Also the bathrooms were dirty.

I only ordered chips and salsa because I’m on the hunt for the best salsa in Chicago and was pleasantly surprised. My favorite salsas are in order of my photo, bottom to top, favorite to least favorite. Amazing variety of root veg mixed in with tortilla chips. Very nice people. Will return!

An underrated hidden gem in the heart of Pilsen. The food is always fresh and full of layered flavors. Contemporary Mexican fare with perfectly portioned dishes—both hearty and lighter options—plus an impressive tequila selection. They also offer great vegan choices. I’ve been coming here for over two years, and it’s still as exceptional as ever. It’s a high-end diner that could thrive anywhere, yet it feels perfectly at home right here in Pilsen. I truly applaud the owners for what they’ve created.

We are a group of vegan-vegetarian … Meat-eaters….so restaurants that meet both needs is rare. This was so tasty…..and fresh. Anna was wonderful and the atmosphere was dynamic. I really enjoyed it and please have a cucumber margarita .

The vegan food here is ridiculously delicious! The tortillas are obviously homemade and the al pastor tofu was incredible! The food presentation was excellent and the meszcal margarita was amazing! Great $5 margarita special on Sunday when we went. Service was great. It was freezing cold inside lol which was my only complaint but the drinks and food warmed me up! I also tried the vegan elote which was yummy. Can’t wait to go back and try the whole vegan menu! My non vegan friends loved their food too. Definitely recommend this spot!
