L’Entrecôte Saint-Jean is a low-key yet effortlessly cool spot delivers on every level – from the inviting atmosphere to the great food and music. The setup is refreshingly simple: a crisp, well-dressed salad to start, followed by their signature entrecôte, cooked to perfection and smothered in their addictive secret sauce, with crispy, golden fries on the side. Finish it off with a selection of classic desserts, and you have a flawless meal.
The esoteric wine list is a fantastic touch, offering unique bottles that pair beautifully with the food. But what truly sets this place apart is the vibe—great tunes playing through a quality sound system, a warm and lively ambiance with fun artwork, and a crowd that appreciates good food without the fuss. We were greeted with the warning that we have to eat something to stay here.
Then we were informed that there was no menu and only one dish available. For drinks they also did not have a menu. Why?
Upon request we found out that the meat and chips was 42 francs for one plate. When we asked for the price of only the chips we were laughed at. What a fraud!

The food is excellent and they have a very good selection of wine. The owner is very friendly and relax. Next time I am in Geneva I will for sure be back.

Same princile as relays de l entrecote a nuce meat with an incredible sauce and fries. This one is more spacious better decoration and better for conversation than relais de l entrecote or cafe de paris. Fries better than cafe de paris but not as thin matches size as relais de l entrecote. Probably best compromise in Geneva in terms of price quality and place for this one dish meat sauce fries meal.
