Before today, I had never ordered a full pizza from a buffet to take home with me after eating. But this was also my first time eating at Godfather’s Pizza. The pizza here was by far the best buffet pizza I’ve ever had.
The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient, and I had a full assortment of hot pizza options with each return trip to the buffet counter. I’ll certainly be bringing back friends and family to this joint.

The pizza was dry and had very little flavor. The chicken was extremely dry. I could not eat the chicken at all. The salad bar was ok, so that is about all I could eat.
The service was good. The kids behind the counter were doing the best they could and were promptly taking dirty plates from our table. This was the only part of my experience that kept me from only giving this 1 star.
I will not be back.

This is one of the best places to eat. The service is excellent to the point of they will make sure all your special requests are honored, and they don’t make you feel like you are an inconvenience. The food was perfect and I truly appreciate it! There is no Godfathers near us and when we are craving Godfathers, we have no problem driving the 40 miles to go get it from here because it is so worth it. Thank you staff for doing such a wonderful job!

My husband and I went in there to have date night most of the food was old. He didnt get one single slice of pizza that was fresh. The chicken was old we had to ask for fresh and they only brought out a few new pieces.

I had a taste for Godfather’s and was not disappointed. I got the buffet and was able to taste some of my favorites. And the chicken was as I remember. Enjoyable time.

The Taco Pizza is a must try; the Chicken is Hot & Juicy, and they offer a good buffet, including Salad Bar, cleanliness was adequate & the Tables seem to be wiped down frequently. External entrance lets you go right in if you don’t want to go into the Walk Mall.

We drive at least 1 time a month from Brookings to enjoy this blast from the past: Friday and Sat night buffet (who does that anymore?) A+ service from the staff members, (kind and accommodating…they act like they are actually glad you came) hot pizza that is fresh and tastes great, the best chicken we have ever had anywhere (moist not dry) and value for the price paid. The is one of the best kept secrets in eastern SD.

It was great, the chicken was REALLY good. Yes, the pizza was good but the chicken really stands above everyone else in the area (including Brookings). The establishment was clean and the staff was clearly working hard to keep everything flowing well.

We got there at 7:30. The employees didn’t tell us the buffet closed at 7:30 till after we paid. Pizza was old and gross. Employees loaded up to go dishes for themselves 10 mins after we got there so they ran out. No wonder nobody goes to this place anymore. I attached pictures.
