Delicious, fresh and flavorful food. I’ve been twice and each time I was super impressed with the food. Even the chips were served hot and fresh. Server is friendly and attentive. I’m surprised they haven’t been very busy when I’ve been there. They have beers and cheladas (massive ones) but no margaritas. The music is loud but not too loud in my opinion. We absolutely love the food and the salsa and hot sauces. Our new favorite Mexican restaurant.

When we arrived we were immediately greeted and seated. We ordered some beers and they are HUGE! The food was very very good I got the Fajitas steak and chicken with corn tortillas.

Serving the best Mexican- style rice on this side of the Mississippi, El Tapatio is actually owned by true Mexicans, and you can tell because all of the flavors and styles are that of the Baja area of Mexico. An individual from Southern California can tell the difference!

From the chips and salsa to the meat-filled tacos, you can’t go wrong. The small menu shows that they focus more on quality rather than in quantity.

If you’re from Southern California, you will greatly appreciate the delicious food and excellent service. Come give El Tapatio a try!

Blessings!

Terrible. Look at the picture. OMG! The portion was so tiny and $15 with tax. We travel all over and eat different places and we can tell you this was a ripoff. It didn’t even have a good flavor.

The establishment is very clean and set up nicely. The waitress was prompt with the menu and my drink order. When she returned, I was given some fresh salsa and chips. I ordered my lunch, and in no time, it was setting I front of me nice and hot. There was a nice amount of good and flavorful food on my plate. I ordered two types of Chimichangas one beef and one chicken. Both were very good, but I know next time I’m going for the chicken, it seems to have more flavor to me. The rice and beans were also good. The music was a little loud for my liking, but all in all, everything was great

Tonight was my boyfriend and I’s first time, and it did not disappoint! The staff was very friendly! Even the locals suggested some awesome food for us.

All of our food was ready in less than 10 minutes! Very impressive! It all tasted awesome and the price was very good too.

We will be back! Thank you so much! ❤️✨

Food and service was amazing! We had the seafood soup with a whole tilapia inside of it I had the menudo it was fresh and both were good portions for the price, I wish the menudo did have some pig feet in it tho because with love sucking on the bones I also had the tripe tacos (intestines) I ordered it crispy and they were delicious and also a large portion! We drove a little ways to come here and we will definitely making it our go to for all of our Mexican food cravings

This experience was below average. I ordered the carne asada with shrimp. The shrimp was good, however the carne asada was dry and was hard to chew, similar to that of beef jerky. Also, I did not even touch the corn tortillas since they had a dried fish smell. The rice and beans were good. The service was slow, but to give the benefit of the doubt they were busy. The waitress did come up to check up on me to make sure everything was fine though which is part of good service. The atmosphere was also great, the music seemed to add a vibe. Also the food did taste fresh, just was kinda overcooked

There is one last thing I want to mention is that server added a sprite onto my bill while I had a water. I do not know if it was intentional or not. However, I do believe it was an accident

We decided to try this place on Cinco de Mayo so we were prepared for a wait.

We were seated immediately and had salsa and chips right away. The salsa was super watery. My bf said it was like water with hints of tomato and chunks. The queso was better.

My bf had a few Maltas. I wanted sangria (on the menu) but was informed they didn’t have any.

I got the California burrito without tomato sauce and pico de Gallo. I had shredded chicken as my meat. It was good. Nothing special.

My bf got carnitas tacos on corn tortillas with cilantro and cheese. They give you a TON of cilantro if you cant tell from the pictures. He said it was ok but wasn’t what he was expecting.

Overall it was an ok meal. Nothing to write home about. The servers were busting their butts though.

Great food here and reasonably priced for your portions! Patricia was our server and she was great! She gave us some packs of gum at the end which was nice because most Mexican restaurants make you pay for those little gum packs by the register. Sweet tea was super good too! I got the fajitas nachos and I was very satisfied. Eat here!!
