This was one of my favorite spots. I looked forward to the healthy portions on the lasagna or the chicken cannelloni.

They are now permanently closed.

Exceptional!
From the outside you would never know it but this is some of the best food in the area. The owner waited on us and I’m fairly certain we said goodbye to his wife on the way out. You can tell they take incredible pride in their food and the experience of eating it.
Wine recommendation was on-point and super reasonably priced.
Bread: soft, perfectly buttered and seasoned.
-Calamari: tender but crispy
-Simple dinner salad didn’t look impressive but had delicious tangy dressing that ensured you were not going to leave any of it on your plate.
Finally, the main course!!
I had the salmon, a fish which I love and cook all the time, It was perhaps the best cooked and sauced salmon I’ve ever tasted, roasted vegetables with just the right spice mix and the linguini with red sauce… wow.
Bottle of GREAT wine, appetizer, 2 dinners all for under $90.

I haven’t had better Italian for 2x that price.

I will be back here, maybe once a week

Our favorite there is the stuffed mushroom, fried calamari.

This is a cute little cafe. I swear it is the best garlic bread I have ever had! This is a family owned business and the owners are the everyday. When you walk through the door you feel like you are a regular. Anselmo and Lucy are great people who make everyone feel like family. And the food is great. I have had many things on the menu but I always go back to the pistachio chicken. And the desserts are great! If you haven’t tried this place… you should!

Large party celebrating a family members birthday. Service was great. There were 10 of us and one server. He kept our glasses full and was very quick in making sure that everyone felt well attended. The food was great. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. This was my first visit but it definitely won’t be my last!

Spectacular as always. Our favorite local Italian restaurant here in Houston. Always quaint with owner operator hands on approach to customer satisfaction. Exceptional food and nice wine list. I have hosted two birthday parties here with groups of +16 each time. All were exceptionly pleased with food and reasonable prices. I have been coming here for 10 plus years and have never had a bad meal. Always excellent.

Smaller than the fancy chains, it certainly has its charm. Service was great – I gotta get that waiter again. The food was great. The live music was unexpected, but not bad. The price was in the expected Italian dinner range: 2 entrees, 2 drinks, 1 appetizer, tax, and a ~16% tip came out to $50.
A word of advice to married men: a romantic Italian dinner can cover a multitude of sins. If you’re in trouble with the missus, bring her here.

I stumbled upon this place driving around looking for food on my lunch break. The restaurant was small and nice appointed. The server/owner? was very nice and prompt with the food despite having 4 table to take care of. I had the lasagna which was very good. Authentic is guess since my palette has been tainted with Olive Garden for so many years. Portion wasn’t huge like you find at chain restaurants on today. I recommend this place and will be eating here again.
