To begin with, the site has a really good atmosphere, the decoration is fantastic and the space in general is super nice, the music at a level to enjoy and that allows you to talk with your companions. The attention is super good, very attentive and quick to explain each dish and to suggest when you need it. in terms of food. the service is very fast it didn’t take more than five minutes for the appetizers, salads and drinks to start arriving. the food looks very well prepared and well presented, it shows the dedication to make each dish. Despite all of the above, the food had a couple of aspects to improve, some very spicy dishes. and the sauce for the nachos is too liquid, which makes it difficult to consume, but they also have a very good flavor.

Well, let’s just say it’s not authentic Mexican food.for 100.00, I would have expected better. Food is not so good. Service is delightful but a bit slow. I think it was a language barrier. Cuban seemed more prevalent.
Steak terribly o ercooked or just a thought cut not sure on Steak fajitas. Horrible Enchiladas. Oh, dessert churo with vanilla ice cream couldn’t chew churro. To ové cooked Horrible. Skinny Rita is perfect. Except use coinntrea, not simple syrup or triple sec a bit sweet.
Well, too, 2 bites said wrap it left without package. Could use so.e training o. Service & cooking.
I’m not impressed at all.

The entire restaurant is beautiful decorated! We loved the music too.

The service sucked , the waiter was arrogant and pompous. The food sucked.

This was a girls day out, taking my daughter for her first wedding dress shopping experience and decided to get some Mexican. When the server came over, he was a shimmy creepy and when we placed our order, he was too good to write anything down. When he walked away, I said to the table and what will he forget? I’ll tell you what he forgot. He forgot to say no tomatoes on my daughter’s burrito and he also forgot to say that I wanted corn tortillas not flour tortillas.

Not like any of that how the food tasted. Disgusting. Literally everybody’s plate. Someone had a complaint. There were seven of us. I would never go back to this restaurant. Also, it was 12:30 in the afternoon and we were the only customers.

Confused about the 3.7 rating because the food , service and drinks are excellent here. We had a great experience all around. Must try this place. You won’t be disappointed. Photos are of the Mexican salad and chicken tortilla soup. I took home a Cuban sandwich that was amazing!

This 3 star review actually pains me. Before I start, the food is fantastic. The service…is not. It’s a new place, but we were seated and waited 12 minutes before even being greeted by a server. It was not busy…at all. I know there are growing pains associated with new restaraunts especially in this area as employees are difficult to find. But our waiter left us with empty drinks for quite awhile (maybe 10 minutes). I predict once the place gets fully situated hopefully service will improve.

Now the good stuff. The food…extremely good. They have a Prickly Pear margarita…to die for. The queso…to die for. The steak asada…to die for. Perfectly cooked medium rare. Pics attached.

The wife had a burrito with Carne asada which was a tad too salty for me, but I believe Carne asada might be typically served saltier (per the wife.) However we are not Spanish so I can not confirm this to be true or false.

I do recommend this place. Happy hour is 4-6pm.

Coming from someone who does not like this style of food. I was extremely impressed. If it weren’t for the chef, this would be a 1-2 star review.

I recommend. I predict during season this place will be busy.

It is located near California Pizza Kitchen at Coconut Pt.

Okay we started out a little rough and initially I would have left two stars. We were first sat in a very remote room away from all the energy. It took a long time for our server to arrive even after we had gone to get someone’s attention. Service started out very slow and normally a Mexican restaurant is quick to drop the chips and salsa but those were even delayed. I felt the drinks were small and rather watery but I did order a skinny Margarita. Other people in my party seemed pleased with their drinks. I didn’t appreciate that they were going to charge for a refill at chips as their menu says however they never did charges for our second basket of chips. I felt that the thought of this is rather tacky for a Mexican restaurant. Once the food arrived one of our six people order was incorrect but was quickly fixed. The presentation, the quality, and overall food preparation was excellent. Initially I thought that the food was rather high-priced but once I had the quality the price was justified. Management was all over us and truly concerned that we were happy. Ralph was the beverage manager on duty and he was quick to bring us two flights of cocktail samplings ” to ease our pain “. Well between Ralph and Andrea (our server), we left satisfied and happy. Now they’ve only been open for 3 weeks so they obviously have some kinks to work out, but certainly give them a try as I’m sure their intentions and their standards are very high!

Great ambiance at this restaurant. I’m not normally a fan of guacamole, but I really enjoyed theirs. The Birria was good with a great sauce on it. A nice interpretation of Mexican cuisine, with lots of fusion influences.

Our bartender was extremely nice and helpful. The guacamole and queso dips were tasty and I would recommend them. The meat in the carne asada tacos tasted off. And they were dry as it was just tortillas dry meat and onions.

We just found this new restaurant at Coconut Point and decided to give it a try.

We were promptly seated and greeted in short order by our server. Complimentary chips and salsa hit our table in short order. We had a couple of questions about the menu which or server was able to answer.

My wife went with a salad and the yucca fries. I ordered the carne asada burrito. The salad was a good size; the burrito was a touch smaller than I usually get at other Mexican restaurants.

Everything was very fresh and seemed made to order. Their take on “modern Mexican” lets the food speak for itself without relying on a lot of sauces. If your tastes are happier with Tex-Mex you may be somewhat disappointed with the lack of spiciness.

All in all, we were happy with the experience and will return.
