This Family owned Chinese restaurant is fast, friendly and delicious. It reminded me of what good Chinese comfort food should taste like. I ordered the General Tao’s chicken and the Shrimp with garlic sauce. The chicken was crispy and flavorful. The shrimp dish has lots of veggies that was nicely chopped and huge pieces of shrimp in there. I will definitely visit here next time I am in Danville.

I have been getting food from this restaurant for years. However, today will be my last time. I paid $10 for a lunch special. She gave me 2 packs of soy sauce and 1 pack of duck sauce I asked for 2 more packs of duck sauce. She said it’s a charge 70 cents. I went a head and paid it but yall have already increased the price of the lunch special from $6.99 to $10.43 it should come with more than 2 packs of soy sauce and 1 pack of duck sauce without having to pay extra. Her response was we have to pay for sauce. I said yall purchase it in bulk. She got made and started talking junk in her own language not knowing I had google translate deciphering everything she was saying. Yall think yall have all the sense. Chinese restaurants’ cost per packet of duck sauce or soy sauce is a variable expense, often a fraction of a cent, as these condiments are purchased in bulk from restaurant supply companies. While prices are not standardized and depend on factors like quantity, brand, and supplier, bulk purchasing for restaurants leads to low per-unit costs for these common take-out items. I hope your duck sauce and soy sauce was worth loosing a loyal customer.

Had take out many times from here! The general tso used to be great, the chicken was now such small chunks, they were little rocks! Happy family used to have a good assortment of meat and sea food, not lobster but prawn, now mostly vegetables, both dishes went up on price! Everything else we ordered , you could tell there have been cuts and changes! Was not what it used to be! Not worth the $130 dollars we spent! Sad and disappointed! Supplemental, never said the food tasted bad, in fact it tastes good, but many things that made the food taste good have been scrimped on!

So we went here because we was craving some Chinese food. This has always been my go to place and it did not disappoint. The Generals Chicken was spicier then it has been before which I loved and hope it stays like this because it was great. I would recommend them to everyone if you want good Chinese food.
