Lovely place, food was delicious and staff all lovely and friendly. Great selection of premade and hot fresh cooked food. The Garlic fries were really great (though not sure anyone wanted to get too close to me for the rest of the day!!)

My first time here and the dishes were great! I ordered the Peachy keen grilled cheese and garlic fries, absolutely delicious! I came with friends who told the menu is seasonal and they love everything here too. Pretty nice staff too.
I signed up for their rewards and will definitely be coming again!!
Fyi they serve hot food so it can take 15 mins at least for the food to come. And it can be pretty busy during the day!

Best tomato soup in town !!! It’s really not that easy to accomplish the perfect amount of tang, sweetness – it’s perfect. The burger is mouth watering, grilled cheese has great texture. The one complaint would be that the Mac n Cheese was just far too dry and lacked flavor. The issue may be solvable with a layer of flavorful cheese sauce ? ♀️ The cost of our meal with two bags of chips, 2 waters and a cookie was somewhere in the $30 ballpark. Love it.
This location sits right next to the MAX and has a great view of the Tilikum crossing bridge. We live within walking distance. Clean, bright, relaxing. I would recommend 100%

What a nice find as we headed toward the Tilikum Crossing. There were a lot of people sitting outside as well as inside, but it was the end of the day, so not overcrowded. We decided to try a sandwich and ordered the pastrami. Luckily, there was meat left. At first bite, we were wowed! It’s juiciness and taste certainly rivals New York’s Katz Deli’s pastrami.

This Is definitely my least favorite elephants deli.
The folks behind the counter really look like they do not want to be there.
And then there are the salads. Way too expensive for a prepackaged salad. Even Subway will make you one per your liking.
I am definitely done with this location. Hopefully the Corbett location doesn’t start to suck too.

I used to come for a slice of pizza and a drink at lunch to the Corbett location but the pizza oven was replaced with a salad bar?! I don’t go anymore. The staff was always helpful. Don’t understand why they don’t mention the full bar anywhere on the website since they definitely have one on Corbett, I’m trying to find a place that does Spanish coffee on the Willamette and thought maybe the South waterfront location but with no mention of a bar I won’t go to find out, that’s the point of a website.

Don’t order online or To-go…. They hide your food behind the register and will make you wait in line so long that your food is cold. The employees act like they can’t walk ten feet away to give you your food that’s already paid for… you have to wait in line behind 20 people usually. Same with doordash, so the line gets giant even for the people waiting for doordash… horrible location that doesn’t care because they have so much business from the hospital

Unless you work or live in the neighborhood, it would be easy to overlook this hidden gem. It’s a perfect spot for any snack or meal, morning to early evening. Always a large array fresh sandwiches, and a good-size menu for hot off-the-grill classics. There’s also a terrific wine and coffee bar. Elephants has all the bases covered here, with quality and freshness at the fore. A terrific value!

Personally speaking the place was kinda meh. Been meaning to check it out for some time and finally did. The cold sandwiches didn’t look very appealing, pretty much on par with gas station and or truck stop cold sandwiches in appearance. Did get a bottle of really good lemonade though.

Very nice ambiance. Comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. A wonderfully varied menu ranging from canned soda to quinoa-based vegan fare, and lots in between. If you can’t find a good, balanced meal here you haven’t asked the right member of the staff.
I would not eat here just for the view, unless you like bridges and building projects being worked on. Nonetheless, the floor to ceiling windows really help on a rainy day.
Great spot for lunch!
