Absolutely disgusting. I will NEVER order from this place again. I found a price of newspaper in my food. I’m disgusted beyond measure. The food tasted horrible today 2/21. I’m a frequent customer but NEVER AGAIN. food disgusting because there’s a whole piece of newspaper in my cassaleaf. Someone needs to get FIRED IMMEDIATELY. This is unacceptable.

The food overall was ok. I had got the cassava leaf w/ turkey and chicken. Towards the end of my meal, I found a piece of black plastic in my food. It completely turned me off and I became highly concerned about the quality of their food. I won’t be eating here again!!!

I visited Kings and Queens on Saturday to dine in with family. I was greeted warmly by the friendly hosts. The hosts Stacey and Kellie were so accommodating and attentive. We ate upstairs and the decor and ambiance was amazing. There was authenthic African wall art and soft lighting. We ordered Egusi soup, potato greens, and cassava leaf for dinner. We also ordered plantains with onion gravy (came on the side) and vegtable samosas. We ended our dinner with dessert made by another local business. The food was very good. The soup came with turkey and chicken and each bowl was full to the brim. The plantain was ripe and the onion gravy which is new to me was very nice. The samosas were made their style and it was really flavorful. I highly suggest visiting Kings and Queens for the amazing food and experience for dine in, take out, or door-dash.

Kings and Queens Liberian Cuisine has very good food and has very professional staff members that are knowledgeable about the menu if any customers have any questions. The staff are reasonable if you want to take out a certain ingredient in the food item you are paying for. Keep up the good work

From the online reviews I was looking forward to coming here. I’ve been to Musu spot, JD, Emma’s Liberian restaurant and others in the past.
This was the first time I had a dine in experience without a dine in experience.
We walked in and were told we had to order and pay before being seated. Did just that and got the food pretty fast. However eating my fufu and soup
With a flimsy tiny plastic spoon was unsatisfying. When we asked for an actual spoon they didn’t have. We got served in a Togo set up.
The potato greens was ok. The casavaleaf was a no, flavor wise and the pepper soup was close to salty. A little over seasoned. When we got our food we didn’t see no one again till we walked out in silence. As someone who has managed a corporate restaurant for years and still is. Dine in service also helps the business, interaction, asking if it’s your first time here? Gaining those new customers. Most time people go back for the service as well. No one was interested in asking how was everything? did you guys need anything? I will not be returning. My suggestion will be Togo only and if dine In, then please give great service.
Dining in a restaurant and not being checked on once is rare. Good was not great. Worst $68 spent.

So, visiting my family and my sister knows I love trying food from the continent, so this restaurant was up.
We went, and ordered jollof rice w/snapper. The food is cooked to order. It was served FRESHH!!! That food was 10/10!! The rice was so seasoned! The snapper, seasoned and fried to perfection!!❣️ That hot pepper sauce that came on the side is radiant, flavorful and just the right tempo. I should have gotten an extra to go. The plantain, fried to perfection! The had me moving my waistline . Being as though this was my 1st try and the food was A1, I’ll try one of the soups next time. Next time I’m in town, will patronize again.

I have been supporting and eating here for years with no problems. After eating food from here last night I woke up with food poisoning. I do not know which part of my order got me sick but I know for a fact that it was the food from here because that is all that I ate. I hope that the owner checks the food storage and cooking temperatures.

Highly Disappointing!! I’ve eaten here once before with no problem but last night was just TERRIBLE!!!
1. My potato greens weren’t potato greens, they were collard greens finely chopped, oily and unseasoned (they could’ve at least told me they didn’t have what I wanted instead of giving me anything.
2. My egusi tasted and smelled like they made it with smoked sardines, just complete fish juice, too overpowering to eat
3. My fufu was so sticky, like slime, I couldn’t properly pick it up because it stuck to my fingers, I tried to roll it in my hand and it stuck to everything like putty. And after putting it in the fridge, it has white slimy spots on it
Overall, Never Again!

Delicious! I got the vegan cassava leaf, the Samosa with the onion gravy, the plantain and a bottle of water. My order was ready when I got there. I’ve been wanting to try vegan African food for a while.. the cassava leaf is really hearty and tasty. It goes perfectly with the rice which was cooked well. The onion gravy reminds me of like a garlic confit but with onions yum! the samosas were crispy and flavorful. The plantain is sweet and tender. 10/10 would order again. My only regret is not getting the ginger juice. I want to try the vegan jollof too.
