Bill’s is a little hole in the wall hot dog joint. It’s been there forever and I’ve only been around here 46 years but I think it’s always been here, steamed hotdogs, steamed buns and chili that’s hot as the Dickens with hardly any meat. It’s famous for the chili !! Got to go at least once, fries are hot and drinks ice cold. The new owners have done a great job keeping it the same but much faster service!!

Bills place used to be one of the best places ever to eat in Maxton! I grew up eating from there my whole life! Now, under new management, the food is nothing as it used to be and some of the staff are just rude! It really is a shame… and it makes me so very sad!

This is the old time, hole in the wall, greasy spoon with great food and service you can’t find anymore. Good ole sloppy double cheeseburger with an 80yr old chili recipe. Everything is priced a la carte, sodas served in cans. Just a lunch counter. Super friendly staff makes you feel right at home. I mile off Exit 181 in Maxton off Hwy 74. Cash or debit cards accepted. Great prices

I went here because one of the previous reviews stated that they have the “Best Burgers in Town”. I failed to realize that they are the “Only” burgers in town other than Hardees. Burger and hotdog were both mediocre and slaw costs .25 extra. The chili had way too much pepper. Staff is super friendly though.

Very tastey food with that friendly “at home” atmosphere. Fast service and very reasonable prices too. Some of the most flavorful chilli I’ve ever had, plus the steamed buns, keep me going back.
