If I could give it zero I would. We had a 20 plus person party and a festive attitude for my mother in laws 75 birthday on New Years eve. Service was non existent. We all finally ordered and out of baked potatoes for a 6 pm reservation. Ok no big deal I’ll get mashed. Steak came out cold along with the potatoes. 2 people didn’t get their food until 25 min after the rest of us. Everyone’s food was cold. Fish cold, steak cold, pasta yep you guessed it cold. Embarrassing is what that epic failure was. Will not be back. Do better!!!

To our waitress we know 100% it was not your fault. They were understaffed, as we should have been able to be attended to by one or two servers for our 20+ table. Our waitress was trying to do it all by herself and keep up with our drinks and food orders. My husband waited 25-30+ minutes for his pasta dish after the rest of our table got their food. They said they ran out of pasta, but never came to tell us or even asked if we would like something different. We also had a significant other of a family member that was brought a pork chop and then had to wait 25-30 minutes for his order to be made correct which was chicken. On the already limited menu, baked potatoes were sold out before 6 p.m. Everyone’s food at our table was cold and didn’t taste very fresh. Our waitress was flustered and very overwhelmed. If I could give tonight, which was supposed to be a celebration, a zero I would. When my husband went up to the counter to ask about his meal he was met with a staff member who completely ignored him and another staff member who just went on chatting with bar patrons. We had this reservation for a week, so it isn’t like we surprised them with our large group. Some of our meals were discounted, but not the whole table. I think this is a management issue that fell heavy on their waitresses shoulders. Sadly, we won’t be back.

Food was great. We enjoyed a great burger and fantastic onion rings. The employees were very nice, professional and attentive. The business atmosphere was nice and there was a lot of cheerful people in the place. Very positive atmosphere.

Ordered mostly appetizers spaghetti and alfredo with a table of twelve took an hour and fifteen minutes for everyone at the table to get their food was brought out fifteen twenty minutes apart, the only appetizer that was edible.Was the chicken strips Everything else was fried to a crisp the nachos was like a plate of concrete

It’s a hunters paradise… plenty of mounted animal heads. They have a cool outside pond where you can feed catfish and bluegills! There is also a sand volleyball court, hook and ring toss and bags to play!!!! Live music on weekend

Bretz Wildlife Lodge & Winery is a great location with a very unique but also very enjoyable ambiance. The service was great and the food came out quickly. I would have to recommend the sweet potatoe french fries to get as the side to whichever meal you order because they are absolutely delicious! Overall, if you are in the area I highly recommend to try out Bretz Wildlife Lodge & Winery.

All the food was cold but burnt we had a 20 person group waitress was rude they made all the portions way way smaller what I used to pay a total of 50 for I now paid almost 90 with a 20% gratuity charge I fully believe in leaving a tip but that’s up to my discretion not there’s awful service awful food will not be back

So disappointed is a understatement. Reviews and hotel highly recommended this place. I’d rather grab a bucket of chicken from KFC in the next town. Would have saved money. We were seated – took forever to get our beverages (two cokes)
Got the nachos – nothing to rave about – we ordered two chicken breast dishes. Now these are not fancy. Soon after a table of two and a table of four walked in – nearly an hour after – both tables had their food and we did not. I was miffed. Told the waitress that just wanted it to go. Conveniently, it was bagged and ready to go in less than two minutes. Got the feeling – my girl and I wasn’t a local and did not want my business. No napklns, no plastic silverware. I wish I could get my $60 back – If your from out of town – keep driving.

My favorite place for pulled pork nachos and they have a couple of our favorite sweet wines too!! We were sad to see their wine selection had dwindled down a bit . Miss the fruit wines!! We will be back the next time we drive thru this way again!! ❤️

Awesome establishment. Tasty beverages and food. Great service, especially by Mel, Kris, Erica, Brittany, and Landon. Owners Sandy and Jeff are very welcoming and generous. Love the Saturday evening entertainment choices with firepits. This is the place to be!
