OWNER: please respond to your Google my business reviews (good and bad).

There are no signs that I saw on menus, receipt or wall indicating 3.5% charge for credit card. I get why but please post it.

$1.50 for 3 extra shells is tough to swollen.
.50 if you want chicken and steak combo on fajitas, (reasonable) but does not make sense as the $16.99 is the same price for both, why pay more?

Great news: chips were hit (first round and cold second round). The salsa was excellent.

Ordered fajitas, a large amount of food, beans and rice came nice and warm.

I recommend anyone to swing by. Staff was very nice and food came out quickly.

So you may recognize this building as the Country Kitchen, but it is not this no more. It is now El Charro. At 4pm the hostess was able to seat myself, my wife, and 2 of our children immediately at a booth. As you sit and look around it doesn’t really remind you of a Mexican restaurant. If it is, it’s the most modernized one I have ever seen. With hard wooden tables and black leather upholstery, it comes out to be very elegant and classy. Wouldn’t you know it, I came in during happy hour which was a $1 off all of their domestic beers! With the steak fajitas I had myself some corona. As the saying goes, “when in Rome…” haha Anyway, the food came out piping hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. My hostess also became my server, and she was constantly on the move. Absolutely professional, made great suggestions, was so kind towards our family and patient as we all took a moment to look at the menu. I was very happy with our service and will absolutely come back to eat here. On the menu board in front of the host stand there is a special that goes on everyday.

Super cute. Nice vibe. I really appreciate this place. It’s such a small town but we were looking for a nice breakfast spot. We got a table right away. You can rub the bear when you walk in. I really wish I could remember the waitress name…. She was so friendly and chatted with us like we were old friends. We were talking about our nails! They also have a singing chef. We could hear from the kitchen, which was actually nice. And the food was amazing! We all got the breakfast skillet but different; Irish Skillet, Veggie Skillet, Steak Skillet We will definitely visit again next time we’re in town. Thank You.

I’ve eaten there twice. The chips were nice. But the chimichangas were great. Stuffed full and well cooked. I over ate. Rice and all were nice too, bt the chimichangas were yum.
2nd time was enchiladas. Very good. Especially for the prices with those ingredients. Wish I could go more often. Was actually on my way to Pedro’s, but my blood sugar monitor said I needed food fast, so I tried here. Was not disappointed.

We went at 3:30 pm on a Sunday, there were lots of open tables. It picked up pretty quickly after we arrived. They switch from the Country Kitchen menu at 3 pm to the Mexican menu. Our server was amazing, very on top of things, super fast service. I ordered sweet tea as he told me that’s what they had. What I got was unsweetened tea, I opted for a Sprite instead, they were out of that, water it was. I ordered the #19 combo. It was a delicious, perfect portion, I don’t care for the red sauce, that is just me. My boyfriend ordered the sampler fajitas as pictured, and he said the shrimp tasted fishy as if maybe they weren’t cooked long enough. Otherwise, the cheep dip was great, chips a little on the greasy side, salsa is a puree style and a bit of a spice which we like. We will be back as it’s close to home, a new restaurant option for Hibbing and we like to support local

Fairly good Mexican food. Located on a major highway in hibbing, not far from Taco John’s. We went for dinner and had a burrito and an order og Fajitas. They’re salsa is out of this world, very good. The burrito was rather bland and even with some healthy dashes of hot sauce, it was fine just more bland then I expected. The Fajitas were also good, but they were also less seasoned then I expected. The drinks were fine and the atmosphere is really good.

This was a great experience! I am in town for work and I was hoping to get some great Mexican food!! They have a large menu with lots of items, I believe they are stocked with a full bar (I was able to order a long island). I ordered the Blanco burrito, which was delicious but after I ordered i kept see the fajita sampler being served to tables around and kinda regretted I did get that . In the end I was full and satisfied with the whole experience. Lots of places to sit and the service was professional and friendly .

The food is really good here, I wanted more even after I left. The waitresses were friendly, but not very attentive. After getting our food I asked for a refill on water and never got it. The atmosphere was nice but nothing big. And as we were checking out the people in front of us were having trouble with payment, which needed 3 separate employees to fix and took about 10-15 minutes. I understand things happen, but it still kinda puts a bad taste in your mouth for a first visit since this location changed businesses.

Everything was great! I had an original lime margarita on the rocks to start which was good. Like most mexican restaurants they start you with chips and salsa for the table. The salsa was thin in texture but had a really good flavor. The dish at the bottom is Enchilada en Mole and the one at the top is Monster Burito made with chicken. There is a ton of menu options. It was really busy when we got there, but we were still seated within a few minutes, drinks and food also came out fast. Would definitely came back to try more dishes, and am interested to try their American breakfast options.

El Charro is a great addition to Hibbing’s restaurants! Good Mexican food, reasonable prices, wonderful service, and my kids love that they can get pancakes and eggs.
