One cold, rainy day I wanted a burger. Not just any burger, one with a lot of quality meat and toppings. A Google search sent me to an unassuming food truck in what seemed to be the middle of nowhere. I always want to support small business so, no matter what, it was worth it to me.
I arrived under their awning at what was close to closing time. Two women greeted me with a warmth that outshone the cold rain happening around me. They spent time going over the menu with me and their love for the food and pride in the quality of their ingredients came through in joyful exuberance. They graciously made changes to customize my burger. I added some of their fresh cut fries as a side. The food came out quickly. The smells awakened an excited anticipation.
I thought I would just “quick try it” before leaving the parking lot. That generously portioned solid meal was gone before I left the parking lot. Every bite a flavor explosion of quality ingredients. It satiated every craving and warmed the soul. The tag line says something about “made with love”. You can definitely taste it.
I’ve since wandered back. Their onion rings deserve a bow down also. The joy of the two ladies continues to radiate, and the food continues to keep its flavorful integrity. Short on time? Call ahead. Worried about making it there before they close? Call ahead. They graciously have prepared it for me and just have you knock on the door to get it. There is a picnic table there. There are also lots of great outdoor spots to drive to. Rainy days may cause you to eat in your car. I wouldn’t make it home. Wherever and however you eat it, be assured you’ve just experienced a nourishing embrace from the inside out.
So go get in the car, put this food truck into your GPS, and treat yourself.

Found this gem on a whim and happy I did! Lorraine was so friendly and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable and fries are fresh cut! They have daily specials as well. I scored two huge muffins for $5. I’ll definitely be back.

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat and was not disappointed!! Got the Big John which was indeed big and delicious! The fries are awesome, gives thrashers a run for their money! Spent less than we would of getting fast food and got way more food than needed! We will be back!
