La Fête us a wonderful and cozy establishment in the heart of Birmingham. It’s quaint, so I would recommend reservations. We started our Sunday Brunch with cocktails and starters. My Blood Orange Paloma was fantastic! We also had Brioche Rolls and Potato Pave. Both scrumptious!!! My Salmon Benedict was amazing! The service was great. Highly recommend!

From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was unmatched.
James (the GM) kept us laughing and made us feel genuinely welcomed.
Jackson (the bar manager) made my drink so beautifully and explained each cocktail with so much intention I loved that.
The uniforms, the decor, the femininity throughout the space… you can immediately feel a woman’s touch behind the design. It felt like home the moment I stepped in.
We were checking out a few different spots that day, and out of all three, my partner asked which one was my favorite and we both agreed instantly: La Fête. I literally had a ball.
The menu does change seasonally, but even with items rotating, they replace everything with options that are just as good if not better. I can’t wait to try dishes here.
I’ll definitely be back for lunch, dinner, and happy hour. They deserve every bit of business and every blessing coming their way.

La Fete is one of my favorite places to visit in Birmingham. It’s like a French bistro on Morris Avenue.
The bartender named Jack was awesome. Not only did he serve up great drinks, throughout the evening he prepared mini drinks to taste like their espresso martini.

First, I wanna shout out James, who was the lovely host. You took care of me and my partner and made sure we were attended to. I really appreciate that. Our server Drew was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the menu which helps since this was my first time here. The restaurant is really cute. I was also able to speak briefly with the owner and she seemed really nice as well. I highly recommend everyone Come and check this place out. From stepping inside, you almost feel like you’re transported to another place. Maybe even a different time. Quite honestly, I could’ve stayed here all afternoon. The food speaks for itself. Everything was amazing. I had the brunch burger, which I could tell it was a high-quality burger. Next time I come, I wanna try those rolls cause they look to die for.

We had a wonderful weekend brunch for three at La Fêfe! The potato pave and escargots were delicious starters and our entrees were also all delicious and satisfying. We also all appreciated that they have good quality teas that we enjoyed along with their pastry of the day— almond croissants. The environment is also pleasant. Looking forward to going again!

Definitely order the potato pavé, it’s heavenly! If you’re into charcuterie, do not miss the house smoked bratwurst, chicken liver mousse, and country pâte.
Another standout was the Steak Tartare. The latticed potato chips were perfectly salty and added great texture to the tartare.
I also tried the trout which arrived topped with accoutrements of blistered tomatoes, charred onions, summer squash, zucchini and okra. Delicious!

SO yummy! Nicest people too! We had the trout,, brioche bread, snails. For apps we had the potato squares-HEAVENLY. And the eggs also delicious. Cannot wait to come back! Shout-out to Will for the recs!!!

If you are ever in the “Ham” you should definitely head down to historic Morris Ave and visit La Fete. My experience here was one of fine chef inspired dining, great atmosphere and really good service.
Every one of the staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Bar service was quick and kitchen service was also quick for the level of culinary arts going on in the back. I sat at the bar and found the bartender engaging and knowledgable.
The restaurant is nicely appointed, restrooms are clean and nice. There is a small bar and several tables inside, they also have covered outdoor seating. Reservations are recommended.
Dont miss this hidden gem in the heart of the Ham. I will definitely be going back.
