Had the plater. Plenty for two. Also ordered an additional rice but didn’t need to. The bread that accompanied the platter was superb. The lady that served us was lovely, told us all about the food and how it is put together and even gave us an extra serving of the chickpea dish.
Really nice and different experience and will come back.

What a wonderful meal and with a real family atmosphere. Authentic and I have to give this 11 out of 10.
I have never eaten Ethiopian before and had this recommended to me. I hadn’t a clue just how good this was going to be. The lamb was beautifully spiced and tender. Served on Injera which is also used to eat with.
Finishing with the Ethiopian coffee completed the experience.

We went to Abyssinia for a Christmas get together and to support a fairly new business venture. The evening was lovely. It’s my first time eating at a restaurant where you use your hands and the food did not disappoint. It was serviced in a colourful basket which added to the experience. I opted for the vegan selection and it was delicious and just the right amount of food. I also tried the home made honey wine which was also delicious. Thank you for a lovely meal I will be recommending you to friends and family.

Came eventually here as we had been past many times and intrigued as to the cuisine . We went for a sharer platter which was ample for two . The lady who served us could not be more helpful as we had not had easy African before .. quality of all dishes 100% . A unique gastro experience with injera bread which was superb .. we ordered a rice dish as a side but we did not need this .. it was really quiet hence I knocked down an atmosphere point .. service was on point

Our first visit and first time trying Ethiopian food. Such a great experience and wonderful to try something so unique. The portions are very generous; what was indicated as a sharer for two was probably plenty for three of us and we were offered more injera (pancake) as well. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Will be returning.

Great ethiopian/eritrean restaurant. Friendly welcome and the food was amazing and authentic. Vegan friendly if you ask, as often things are cooked in ghee in ethiopian cuisine.
Had a friend with me who’d nevet had ethiopian food and was so delighted she ate far too much and couldn’t move or eat for the rest of the day.
Mixed platter is the way to go. If you have time get the coffee for the table at the end. Very authentic with incense and popcorn. Yes popcorn.

Best experience as it you could enjoy authentic culture as for a moment I felt I was outside Swansea. Smell, design, music and enjoyed the coffee most and the service and food was amazing and would definitely recommend to visit.

Three of us met here for a late lunch. We went for one of the mixed platters for two plus a vegan selection for one, and received it all shared between us. The food was delicious and the quantity generous. The injera, a fermented pancake from teff flour (gluten-free and rich in nutrients) is used to pick up the food. It was a new and tasty experience for me. The dishes were very varied in terms of ingredients, flavour, texture and level of spiciness, which made for a fabulous experience.
The people running the restaurant were very friendly and made us feel really welcome.
I look forward to a return visit soon!
