We moved into Staunton, in June of this year. We had read about the makeover with Bar Rescue. Today we actually went for lunch.
I was quite happy with my “Big Poppa” Breaded Pork Tenderloin sandwich and fries. My wife got a cheeseburger, was okay, but had a few reservations about it.
I have no idea what it looked like before (still haven’t seen the episode) but it looks nice, if a little dark. I get the vibe and what they are going for. I do wonder if there are any actual ties to prohibition activity in the area?
Our solid, effective server, Molly, was holding things down for the whole place, there were people at the bar, and another table came as we were leaving. I suspect they are more of a happy hour and beyond sort of gin joint.

Interstate traveler stopping in for a stretch. Was warmly welcomed and genuinely taken care of by the Saturday afternoon crew. Best wings I’ve had in a long time. I appreciated the culture – on both sides of the bar.

Matty and I loved the atmosphere, prices, food and attention to detail as well!!! Wings, tenderloin sandwiches and fries were AMAZING!!! Great food and customer service! Thank you again guys!

I am somewhat a local here.. live in the near by town.. food was decent.. good place to shoot some pool and hang out. Staff has always been decent.. Takes some time for the food to come out, but thats OK as long as decent..

First time here tonight for a comedy show and it was awesome!! Definitely a great night out here! We came with a large party and were not disappointed!! Waitress stayed on top of our food and drinks, all of the staff was so friendly, we will definitely be back!

Had great food at a reasonable price. The food came out quick and hot . And they had specialty drinks I enjoyed.Also had great drinks and great bartenders. Now that came up here was Thursday because they have free Texas hold’em that they put in $10 per person and cash prize every Thursday night at 7:00 p.m.
