First the Meet up burger is a slider and salty The fries look like frozen fries. We asked for the cheese and got it when fries were getting cold. Philly cheesesteak not worth the price as it was small and salty. Chocolate shake. Small cup, overly priced and cup was uneven we had to hold it up the entire time. Needles to say almost $,60.00 for 4 items is ridiculous. If food was sized bigger, and good maybe. I dont mind paying that. Seriously I will never go back, salty, burgers are sliders, french fries look like frozen fries.

The staff was nice which made the atmosphere feel comfortable right away. They have indoor seating that’s clean and cozy, perfect for sitting down to enjoy a meal. The food was absolutely delicious—especially their burgers, which were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Overall, it’s a great spot to grab a bite to eat, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good food and good service.

Awesome local spot that serves delicious freshly made food. I love the vibe of this restaurant, the meal was perfect as well as the great service. The Mango Slushy was my favorite thing, they have a great menu and I’m looking forward to trying more options.
This place is very affordable as well!
Went back a week later to try the ribs, same great service and good food!

Meat-up Grill has been a stalwart favorite from the second they opened. We order from them about once or twice a week, and every time they add something new to their menu, it’s like Christmas. The latest addition (chicken chili mac and cheese) is superb, with a pleasant but not overwhelming kick, their shakes (especially the pumpkin, the caramel toffee, and chocolate shakes) are thick creamy goodness, and their soups are to die for. I would love it if they would also offer their crispy buffalo chicken nuggets as a separate item (instead of it being a topping for the 420 mac and cheese and some salads) but either way, you literally cannot order bad food here. I hope they never stop being awesome (and also, if they read this, bring back more soups, and never get rid of the chicken chili mac and cheese)!!

I stopped in on my work break to grab a quick bite. This place caught my attention. There’s a welcoming atmosphere when you walk in. Lots of space and pinball machines for 25 cents a game. The cooks are fast and the young lady at the counter was very personable.
Here I ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich with a side of small fries and a ginger ale. This came up to about $19 bucks. The cool part about the chicken sandwiches is that you have the option to make any one grilled or fried.
I enjoyed my sandwich a lot. It was crispy and the Buffalo sauce was very rich. Bun was toasted perfectly. Pickles were fresh. Crinkle cut fries were perfect. I’d definitely come back again. Thanks guys!

Disappointment or disaster I’m not sure which comes to mind first. The loaded fries are underwhelming. The $8 onion rings are not worth it by any means. But worst of all for the name and pictures that show a nice big burger, and you see a good portion of meat, there’s absolutely none of that here. I got the Steakhouse burger but they should call it the steakhouse SLIDER. It’s tiny, an actual size of sliders in a real steakhouse. It’s about half the size of a normal patty and everything supposed to be inside is as timid as the flavor. The cheese I’m still looking for and thank goodness I paid extra for mushrooms so something would be in there. Not to mention this is definitely not real brisket! I guess you have to buy the hulk burger if you want a normal sized burger in this joint. BUYER BEWARE.

I honestly don’t know why I haven’t showed up to this location much sooner, the food is outstanding.
I ordered the Nash Crunch Chicken Sandwich which is on the additional menu. That thing had a lot of flavor and the chicken was really crispy even with it being doused in sauces and melted cheese. I enjoyed the crinkles cut fries very crispy as well. I’m not an onion ring fan but I ordered both sides anyway and they were actually good with the sauce that it comes with. Fiancee wanted the salad and she had no complaints.
I timed from when I ordered to receiving and it was 20 mins flat so if you don’t have any patience I’d prefer you call in advance but don’t fret because everything definitely tasted fresh and is worth the time.
I’m anticipating another visit soon to try that supposed Hulk Burger. Definitely amazing food!

First of all, this review is for the chef / owner I caught walking to his car and said “your food is awesome man”.
So as a synopsis, this place is consistent, EVERY TIME . It’s apparent that each and every item they put out is full of themselves on a plate. Staff is ALWAYS friendly, They CARE. It’s fresh every single time . Homemade pickles, succulent coleslaw. Look at the burger , it’s perfectly constructed.
The tsunami burger is my favorite , the combination of flavors between the coleslaw and the bbq sauce are unreal. But while
I say that’s my favorite item , I have to tell you I’ve never had a bad meal from here. If you order delivery , your fries will still be crispy so that should tell you something.
They’re a local business that appreciate every order and it’s refreshing. Definitely worth the ride if you’re visiting from Manhattan, lunch for a day…day on the boardwalk , lunch on the beach.
Try the items on their additional menu as well! The codfish crunch is to die for, and their milkshakes should be award winning.
Please visit and support this absolute local gem and share your experience just like I did! If you don’t believe most reviews, check out my others!
Thank you meat up for bringing good quality food to the rockaways, and please don’t lose the charm and passion with your customers, because it makes you the amazing establishment that you are

Tasty smash cheese burger, pretty small but good for a quick bite. Anything that is not explicitly stated on the menu item adds up real quick, like cheese etc. so watch out thinking you are getting a burger closer to the cheaper side ($9) and end up paying over $12 for a couple of things you thought were basic and included. We ordered a couple of basic burgers and nothing else, very slow afternoon on a off-season Sunday, and it took them around 30 minutes to prepare. Staff was courteous. They have 3 pinball machines I guess you can use to kill some time while waiting. No outdoor tables, so not pet-friendly.
