Don Blackburn built the original store where he sold groceries and gas in the front and moonshine out of the back during the depression. Blackburn was quite a colorful character best known for bootlegging, being a daredevil pilot and having a pet bear that he walked around Maryville on a leash.

Sharon, was very nice and made us feel welcome as this was our first time to Maryville, and our first time to Tennessee. Sharon suggested the “choose 2” option which was perfect. The tuna salad with a side garden salad was delicious and just the right size for an early lunch. Thank you Sharon!

Got the chicken salad sw and grilled mcm cheese – everything was perfectly balanced – and lightning fast pickup speed too. Highly recommend. I would definitely pay more money if possible to get a bigger portion on the sides because they’re just as delicious.

The ambiance is lovely and it is decorated so cute and rustic and the staff is just the sweetest!

this was my very first time ever eating at this place and the food is very delicious but for the prices changed the servings should be a little bit bigger i had the blt and potato salad way too small of serving i was still hungry after I ate everything and had a piece of pumpkin pie and coffee and was still hungry when I left i think in the future I will come back and try it again too see if anything has improved i can’t forget too say the place is very clean and the restroom is very clean thanks for the hard work here just up your your servings a little bit more for the prices.

The pictures do not represent the food actually. The prices are much too high for the quantity of food. Salad served on ( not a plate) guest it would be called a metal tray. Chef Salad..a few squares of cheese, tiny pieces of meat, one slice of squash, a thimble full of pecans on spring mix. Don’t waste your time or money.
