Very underwhelming and extremely disappointed. We ate on the non-hibachi side (since hibachi was already a 3 hour wait). Man, the menu was so limited! On top of that, it took 40 minutes just for our California roll to come out. Another 15 minutes for our tuna roll, and another 15 minutes for our chicken fried rice. Fried rice didn’t have enough chicken and was too salty; too much soy sauce in the rice. Overall, we probably won’t be back. For Japanese cuisine, this was my first bad experience.

We went to Timsons in Howard last night for our daughter’s birthday. I can’t say enough good things about our night! From the second we stepped in the door we were treated so good. We were welcome by Matthew who was the most amazing bartender and waiter! He was all over the place keeping everyone happy. He did a great job. Then when we got to our table our cook was Alan. He was fantastic. Our food was perfect and he kept us entertained with his show. Even our 2 year old was mesmerized. We will be going back soon! Thanks for the fun night.

This was one of the most disappointing sushi experiences I have ever had. The menu featured almost no rolls without cream cheese, almost no raw fish, no hamachi, and no cucumber roll.
My wife and I audibled away from dinner pretty quick, and each got just one roll as an appetizer.
The place was almost completely empty, but we had to wait almost 45 minutes for our 2 rolls. I got the fresh philly roll, and my wife got the shrimp roll. When they arrived I was shocked how little fish they had. The worst part was the rice, there was a lot of it, and it tasted like Uncle Ben’s, not sushi rice.
After paying I got the credit card slip back and found out they charge a 3% service fee. The law that allows charging a service fee says that I must be notified before ordering, such as a post on the door, or menu. When I asked about it I was ignored by the waitress, paid and left. On the way out I did see a posting by the register. This doesn’t adhere to the law.

Food was excellent. The young chef that prepared our food did a great job. We got a great deal on Groupon, and had way more food than my son and I could eat. Our waitress was great as well. She kept popping in frequently to get us what we needed. The place had beautiful decor, as well. We would definitely come back again and would recommend this place to others.

Went here for a friend’s birthday and really enjoyed our experience. It was my first time there and I will for sure be going back! Our service and chef were amazing and HIGHLY entertaining! I rarely go out to eat so this was a treat. And the amount of food I got was incredible! I had left overs that fed my whole family the next day! I can’t wait to take hubby here on a date with friends! So fun!

Chef was nice. Food was good.
BUT the hostess/waitress was taking her bad day out on us from the minute we walked in. Checked in for our reservation 4 mins late – mind you, I knew we would be late and called Wednesday, Thursday, AND Friday and left messages requesting to move the time back 30 minutes with no call back. I told her this and apologized for being late. She argued with me and told me I did NOT call and that she should just skip over us to the next reservation.
After being seated, she was slow with service. When we were done with our meal, she made it clear through loud, snide comments and throwing up her hands in frustration that we were taking too long to vacate our table. As we were paying our bills, she was making comments to another employee about how stressed out she was and how they couldn’t handle any more customers.
I understand everywhere is short staffed and that’s stressful. However, your customers are paying $100+ for a meal for two people and part of that cost is supposed to be a positive, enjoyable experience. There are other local hibachi places. We are not likely to revisit this one if that’s how Timsan’s employees treat their patrons.

Showed up early, had a drink at the bar. Very good. Seating for Hibachi table changed, we were seated by ourselves as a result, but we had a great time. Our chef Wolf, was excellent, and food was also very good. It was a fun evening. We ordered the meal for two, and we both brought some home!

Love this place. The chefs and wait staff are very friendly, and the food preparation is as always very fun and amazing. Came for my sister’s birthday as we always do. Timsan’s never fails to impress, the food is fantastic and the place is always very welcoming! Chef Wolf was hilarious. Will definitely come back!!!

My grandson, son, and I had a fabulously fun evening last night, thanks to everyone at Timsan’s Lineville. From start to finish everything was great. Our hibachi chef Wolf gave a terrific and artistic performance expertly matched to our delicious meals. He kept my 15 year old grandson’s attention way better than a video game-which is no easy feat. Our server was such a sweetheart and kept us and our table companions well taken care of. One of the best joys in life is sharing an awesome eating experience full of laughter and great companions-especially after the year we’ve all endured. I’m glad we made our foray return to normalcy at Timsan’s, and I highly recommend the rest of you try it too. Thanks Kevin and everyone else at Timsan’s for making our family adventure so much fun and tasty.

The attitude of the management is so far from customer oriented, we will never return! It’s unfortunate because the food was great. Our chef was wonderful, but it didn’t make up for the rude treatment we received. We had asked to move our reservation to an hour later to accommodate out of town guests. We were told it was out of the question. When a few in our party were five minutes late, the manager snapped at us and said we had exceeded the 5 minute window for our reservation. This was in spite of our bar bill. By the time we finished our meal on this Saturday night, only two other customers had come in and many tables were empty.
