I had a really frustrating experience here. First, they gave me the wrong order. I went back to fix it, and when they handed me the “correct” order, it was still missing a sandwich. I had to go back a second time just to get the item that should’ve been included in the first place.

When I finally opened the food, it looked like it had been stepped on and tossed around. Everything was sloppy — sauces were everywhere, the packaging was a mess, and nothing looked put together with any care. The large fries they tried to upsell me on (without even asking what size I wanted) were all broken pieces. I didn’t have a single full fry in the entire container.

To top it off, the sandwich they forgot in the first place was supposed to be a chicken sandwich. When I bit into it, it was actually a fish sandwich.

Multiple mistakes, messy presentation, and zero attention to detail. Such a waste of time and money.

I didn’t realize I had left a review, and it was one-star at that. I must’ve clicked something on my malfunctioning phone without realizing it. Uf, sorry for the panic. Now I am leaving an update. Everything was great. It was nice to be able to get a warm, tasty meal for under $10, and quickly. I used the drive-through, which had a fine atmosphere. The staff was kind and courteous. No complaints.

They served my mom and me RAW BURGERS, and almost stole my money through the transaction. I will never return to this location, or possibly Blake’s altogether, ever again. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I ordered online and arrived to pick up my order about 40 minutes before they closed, so there should not have been any rush making the food. I asked the cashier if everything was in the bag and he said yes. I get home and we are missing a bowl of chile. The worker clearly did not check the bag and then lied to me.

I tried calling the store to get a refund on the chile (about $6 with tax). The phone line claimed that the store was closed (lie #2). I drove back to the store, where they were still open and serving food. I waited in the drive though again and got my refund. He said they were out of chile that night. So then why did they charge me the money still and not even inform me that they ran out of chile? They had my phone number from the online order.

While waiting for my refund, all of the cooks stopped what they were going and started staring at me through the window from the kitchen, as if I was some kind of spectacle to behold. This struck me as odd… until I got home to finally eat the food and saw that the patties were still RAW. Look at the pictures, there are NO excuses for this!!!

Those cooks acted like they knew they served me a raw burger!

My solution? I air-fried the patties for 5 more minutes, enjoyed my dinner, posted an honest review, and turned the other way. Goodbye Blake’s! I really hope others heed this review’s warning and go to lengths necessary to avoid this establishment.

By the way, having the workers and their friends post positive reviews would be ILLEGAL. How could an honest customer snap a picture of Diego’s bacon in a tin behind the counter!?!? And then another review about Diego’s meat pops up right below!?!? Just look at how many 1 star reviews there already are!

Busy for a grand opening but the line moved along. Has been a long time since visiting a Lotaburger. The burger was very good and fresh. Had green chili on my burger and was pleasantly surprised with the heat and flavor!! The tenders were also fresh and hot. The breading on the tenders is a bit thick but still delicious. Ordered the seasoned fries and they were fantastic!!!! The strawberry shake was also very delicious. Glad to have this option here and look forward to many more visits.

We ordered four burger combo meals via mobile app, picked up the food and came home and saw we are missing a burger. Went back to the store and showed them the order and receipt, they handed us a bag and we left. We opened the bag to find a frito pie and no burger we ordered (that was for my daughter). We called the store and spoke to Tiffany, Tiffany was immediately rude and handed the phone to Rodrigo. Rodrigo did not offer any type of resolution and stated “just rate us on the app or call your bank” no apologies, or curtesy, just plain rude. We loved LOTABURGER but sadly won’t be going back again. This has happened a few times before but there was always a super nice employee that always had a resolution. Maybe it was just plain bad luck this time with the order but the employees who were working there tonight were just awful, rude and could care less about the situation.

The Lota Burger in Pojoaque is terrible. Cold burgers and the fries are always cold and soggy. The breakfast burritos are good but not the burgers. Taos LB is the best place to have an original Blakes LB. I don’t know who manages these establishments but they really need someone who cares about what is being served. The cleanliness is also a concern. Read your reviews that says it all.

I ordered a shake and an order of fries. The shake was fine although the size seemed quite small. However, the fries were horrible. They were barely warm; they were chewy; and the taste was just bad. I’m not quite sure why, because the store seemed to be busy.

This will be the last time I spend money at Lotaburger. The quality has really declined since they reopened. The burgers are always cold, and this last experience the fries were awful—they tasted like they’d been sitting around for two days and then microwaved( Not to mention I ordered seasoned fries, but was given a mix of regular and seasoned fries) The fries were dry, chewy, and had no crunch at all. Clearly old and reheated food. Do not waste your money.

I travel around New Mexico and this Lota Burger is head and shoulders above any other location. Not sure why others aren’t as good and consistent as they are. The burgers are noticeably better, fresher.
And much cleaner than the one on El Pueblo and 4th street.
