Went to school at WBU for their inaugural 2012 football season and still tell people about this place.
At the time, they had a smaller building to the south of Walmart. So glad to see they have expanded and are still around. Best brisket sandwich in the state IMO
Will be making the trip up there for Palo Duro Canyon one day and this is a definite stop.

I agree with Seth’s comment “some of the best in eest texas”but would include other regions of texas. Before entering, you knew it was good from the packed parking lot! Some of the best BBQ we have eaten in a very long time. We had turkey & chicken plate, and lean brisket & sausage plates. Generous helpings, all meats tasted great, and the service was friendly & fast. Great job folks!

I had an amazing dining experience at Weekends BBQ. The food is outstanding, with every dish hitting the mark. The sliced brisket and turkey were both incredibly moist and packed with flavor, showcasing the skill and dedication of the pitmasters. The creamed green chile corn was out of this world, offering a unique and delicious twist that left a lasting impression. The loaded mashed potatoes were also a highlight, perfectly seasoned and utterly delicious. Weekends BBQ truly delivers a top-notch barbecue experience that I highly recommend.

First time I’ve been here and was very pleased, I got the green chili corn, loaded mashed potatoes, and ribs and sliced brisket, everything was fresh made with love and care, and the ribs and brisket were both excellent, and generous portions on sides AND Meat!!!

The BBQ was absolutely amazing—hands down the best I’ve ever had. I ordered a to-go meal, and the chopped brisket just melted in my mouth. The mashed potatoes and salad brought back memories of my mom’s cooking. I can’t wait to be back in town to try more brisket!

Do not recommend for catering ordered for a baby shower which was themed around bbq a baby-q shower and even called 2 days prior to confirm get there to pick up and they forgot my order so so disappointed I left in tears had to get pizza on such a short notice
