The Common Roots Café is located in our Bierhall & Barrel House Event Center, directly across from our flagship facility. It’s the perfect place for a quick grab-and-go breakfast to start your day, to take advantage of free wifi in the spacious café, or to enjoy a morning break outside in an Adirondack chair. We offer walk-up counter service for espresso, coffee, cold brew, tea, and select breakfast items. Seating is open and we do not take reservations. Be sure to pick up a bag of our house-roasted Common Roots whole bean coffee while you’re here!

Local here but first timer. My friend and I had the power bowls, which were huge. We also split the cinnamon sugar pretzel bites, also great, and our iced coffees were delicious too. This space is absolutely beautiful and I plan to host an event here in the future.

Common Roots Coffee is such a gem! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the staff is always friendly, and everything they serve is top-notch. My wife and I always split the breakfast burrito with a side of crispy potatoes—it’s the perfect amount and absolutely delicious every time. We love sitting inside by the fireplace on colder days, and the outdoor space with Adirondack chairs and fire pits are super nice and relaxing when the weather’s good. You can really tell they put care into the whole experience. It’s definitely our favorite local spot—highly recommend!

Went to the Cafe for a latte, latte was great and service with a smile! They have oat and almond milk to choose from. Ordered an egg breakfast sandwich which was great on their house made biscuits. Sat outside with my dog around the fire and enjoyed everything! Will be back!

Waited a bit to order, one of the burritos wasn’t made when we ordered so it took extra time and we didn’t get to eat at the same time. Second burrito wasn’t what we ordered. Had sausage instead of bacon and had no cheese. Burrito is mostly tortilla not much egg. Coffee was not hot. Just not a good experience, and I really had high hopes based on the reviews. If we try the regular brewery for drinks and food I really hope it will be a better experience.

For starters the guy at the counter was great, very polite and friendly. Unfortunate I waited 45 minutes for a sausage egg and cheese that didn’t have any sausage… and there wasn’t many people in the restaurant. HOWEVER the guy at the counter made it right, offered a free pastry item for the wait, then when we told him about the missing sausage he gave me 1/2 off. He made it right and was polite and friendly

Unmatched service and food! Visited town for a week and ended up returning here every single morning because it was so good. Breakfast burritos are phenomenal, the maple brown sugar latte special was delicious (not too sweet) as well as their plain lattes. Employees are incredibly friendly and provide very thoughtful service. Atmosphere is awesome with fire pits lit in the morning and plenty of space to sip coffee. Wish it was closer to home, highly highly recommend!

Visited for the first time in mid October. There were no other customers there. I asked the lady at the counter for something, she said with a bad attitude “we don’t have that! you want anything else?” Then I asked for something on the menu. She watched me get my card out of my wallet and said, “We only take cash”. Then I left as I felt I was being rushed out. Nothing on the door said cash only and they weren’t close to closing. I felt like she was so rude that maybe she was just there robbing the place.
