We visited this restaurant today with our family and what a wonderful place it is! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, just like the entire staff. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, the food is fresh and delicious, and the desserts and coffee with real whipped cream are amazing.
The interior is very clean, with beautiful seating, and the place was full of guests, which really says a lot. Definitely worth visiting.
Highly recommended!

Just been to the new premises for our first visit since they moved from Haslingden. We were regular visitors in Haslingden and we will continue to be coming! Amazing food as ever, lovely decor & posh inside. Always have a good meal when we come and the service is always excellent. Thank you again ❤️

Visited for the first time since opening Sunday 18.01.26, and being a curry connoisseur, was very excited. Service good and lovely refurbishment, but staff too busy to add that personal touch and heating needed turning up. Starters average that really needed more intense flavour. I ordered the Naga curry. It’s unheard of to get fresh Naga chillies, as detailed on the menu, in restaurants, what a treat! Unfortunately, there wasn’t a trace or hint of that unique fruity & earthy taste that is the Naga chilli, but the unmistakable flavour of burnt garlic was. I grow and cook with Naga, so know my stuff, and when garlic has burnt. Staff seemed uninterested in my complaint, saying ‘really?’ as if to doubt my experience. Paid and left. Hopefully it was down to the restaurant being at capacity with people waiting for our table so staff rushing, but it will be a while until, and if, I return.

Seriously Good!
Visited for the first time last night with friends and wasn’t disappointed. Service was absolutely first class. Atmosphere fantastic, in such testing times for the industry it’s lovely to see a restaurant working at capacity and absolutely nailing it.
The food was a cut above any competing establishment in the area. My Goa King Prawns were epic (The size of the prawns!)
Nothing I would change, keep doing what you do!
We will be back.

First time visiting, and definitely won’t be the last! It is dangerous that it is in walking distance of our house – I fear we may become regulars! Food was amazing, with so much choice, and staff were very attentive and friendly. The owners have done such a wonderful job doing the place up. It is so cozy and welcoming. Can’t wait for our next visit!

1st time tonight, Saturday so expected it to be busy and it was, always a good sign though. Very friendly welcome, shown to our seats and we were very impressed with the decor. Staff were friendly and efficient but understandably they were rushed off their feet so no real time for a chat. We ordered and everything came with the right amount of time between courses. The food and service was great, no complaints at all, see you guys again at some point in the near future .

I ordered chicken korma with chips and my partner ordered saag with pilau rice. We waited an hour for our food to arrive, once it finally arrived, chips were half cold and the chicken korma was really watery with no flavour. They offered to replace it but not refund it. Again, this took a while to arrive so I asked for it as takeout. Once it arrived, we went to pay the bill and noticed they had added extra items to our bill.
I raised this with the owner along with the quality of my food, he responded very aggressively and did not like the curry criticism. He reluctantly corrected our bill though.
We had been seated in the conservatory area on a very small table along with other people, it was quite tight and unpleasant. The handle for the conservatory door was also missing which made it difficult to get out!
Would definitely not recommend this place!

We ate for the third time at Anarkali at the Gamecock and, for a third time, absolutely enjoyed our experience.
The restaurant was exceptionally busy but we were shown to our table before our booking time, which was fine.
Service was good and appropriately timed for both drinks and food.
The staff are very pleasant and curtious.
There’s little doubt that Anarkali’s food is the nicest in this area. Our starters and main courses were exceptional. The lamb in my biriani was the most tender, tasty and succulent I’ve tasted.
As previously, the portions are large so….the “doggy bag” readily offered, was our lunch today!!
The management positively receive any “points of note” and that’s such a positive for this establishment.
We’ll be back!!
