I had my cousin order me 2 chicken enchiladas with rice and beans 2 dinners. I paid $10.19 more than I’m usually charged. Then not thinking anything of it . I see the lady put beans in microwave. 3 minutes later I get my order. I get home and I give 1 of the dinners to my daughter. I begin to eat and the beans are hard not cooked all the way. The chicken enchiladas taste watered down no flavor at all. They microwaved the sourcream and it’s horrible as well.My lips are trembling as if I’m having an allergic reaction to something. The dinner taste sour. I’m just going to toss it out. A waste of money and I’m still hungry.

I just came here again for breakfast around 10 AM and the service was extremely slow and also I was overcharged, I just had a coffee with my heuvos rancheros but when I checked out, they charged me for a Mexican hot chocolate, which is a couple dollars more. Not cool!
The lady was super shady while ringing me up too, I should have known, she didn’t ask if I wanted a receipt or anything. Luckily, I opted to have the receipt emailed to me and only when I got home and looked at the email, did I realize I had been overcharged.
I would hesitate to return here now based on this poor service and the error.
I really hate it when people take advantage of me just because I don’t speak their language and they think they can get away with it or something.

I brought my husband to lunch and it was ok. The service was good and I love the atmosphere. The menu has various options. The are reasonably priced and quick service.

Burrito was missing the add on I asked for and was charged for. I was questioned if I stole something when I left so I did not feel comfortable going back. I live 3 blocks away and was at the beach all day and was my first food all day and would never steal from the neighborhood I love. Maybe trust regulars, but I can’t be a patron here anymore

Beware don’t buy food from them.
I bought meat over potatoes with sour cream and cheese I got food sickness from it headache, upset stomach, vomiting, nausea and chills I believe the food wasn’t fresh and maybe spoiled ingredients who knows.

This use to be my go to spot, but the quality of food has went down. Beans were undercooked and food tasted bland. They messed up my order and didn’t really want to remake it and served me a margarita that tasted like straight mix and asked me to still pay for it since it was getting thrown out. The prawn burrito had cut up pieces of shrimp instead of prawns. I’m just sad it wasn’t anything we were expecting. After all these years, it’s never been a problem until now.

I love the owner she is sweet but when she is not there my food is just not right and it is a communication barrier with the employees I have been supporting for years but the quality is just not the same and they changed the shells to store bought and the tacos are horrible now I like fresh made chips and fresh made taco shells. LA is the type of Mexican food I love and Oakland to be honest they are quick thou but I’ll just cook my own for now on .
