I used to come here often, but I’ve had some interesting experiences, so I have not returned.
I used to get some subs here, till one day I got a sub that the deli meat was questionable on the expiration date, slimy and smell funny. I didn’t eat it. I threw it out.
After that I decided just to stick with breakfast. 2 different times I was pulling egg shells out of my eggs so I can eat them. At that point I stopped going.
I had a dozen great experiences before those times but that’s enough for me.

My clients decided to order lunch from this spot and it consisted of sandwiches and salads. The order was called in and was on time. They only forgot the drinks so had to bring it a little late. For myself they were able to make a veggie sandwich and I also had the side salad and pasta. I ate when I got home and the sandwich was spicy but it was tasty. The salad was good especially with the dressing. All in all I had a good experience.

Henry’s Delicatessen on Van Houten Avenue is one solid deli to visit. They make a very nice set of subs and sandwiches with quite good deli salads to compliment your little meal. The subs and sandwiches are packed up with meat, and cheese and are quite substantial. They also sell various deli by the pound. The service is very friendly and attentive and willing to please, while the prices are reasonable. All in all, it’s a good visit.

This delightful little hidden gem needs to be discovered, located on Van Haughtor Aveneu in Clifton it is not on the main road even though close to route 46. Henry’s has everything you could want and them some and all of it is well prepared and delicious. It is definitely worth the extra effort to get there.
