We’ve been to this coffee shop a few times now and it’s become our go-to whenever we’re in the area. The coffee is always great, consistent, and freshly made. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and it’s a nice place to take a break and relax. Service has always been friendly and quick, which makes the stop even better. Definitely a spot we’ll keep coming back to

Great coffee, excellent service, amazing muffins. The muffins were way better than they any right to be. Cozy little place. I live in Burlington so it’s a bit of a drive but if I lived in Shleburne I’d be here very often. Love it! We got a matcha latte and a chai latte as well as blueberry and a raspberry muffin.

I stopped here on a road trip traveling from Wisconsin to Maine. The coffee was exceptional- great taste, smooth, and the cafe was cute and had a nice vibe.

The reason I’m giving a 2-star review is because there is a wood bench on the side of the building by the parking lot. I went to sit on the bench and it flipped up in the air like a teeter totter and it was scary! I could have seriously been injured but I was able to jump off right away. I also had my 10 pound dog with me when it happened.

I went inside and told a gentleman behind the counter what happened. He was nice and came outside with me and explained that the bench often gets backed into by cars in the parking lot and then it gets moved out of place.

I have no idea why, if this is clearly a known issue, that the bench is not stabilized for safety reasons. If this happens next time to a child or an elderly person, this could end in consequences or someone getting seriously hurt.

Good pastries, really really good coffee, …no WiFi… a coffee shop with no WiFi is like a gas station with no bathroom. Weird, right? The coffee is really good though.

I brought the person i take care of there. They were in a wheelchair. I didn’t know that they don’t have wheelchair access. After unloading the wheelchair and helping a very ols woman into it, I saw we had no access. I feel like this is a violation if the Americans with disabilities act, but I don’t know everything about it. I also saw in another review that the store closed early and the response was I had an appointment I’m only human. None of my customers would ever get a response like that. That’s poor customer service.

Ever since Kevin Clayton opened Village Wine and Coffee it has been our preferred café. Being raised French, I was brought up on good coffee and was taught to appreciate and respect good wine. Village Wine and Coffee in Shelburne, Vermont, offers both in the friendliest atmosphere you will find. I recommend the homemade Cinnamon Apple Pastry. So light, flaky and delicious!
Enjoy!

Great selection. Helpful staff who even made us an impromptu cooler to keep our rose wine cold.

Take it or leave it, Village Wine and Coffee is exactly what it’s trying to be: a cozy place to meet over a cup of espresso, or purchase from a great collection of wine with the optional guidance of the owner. I’ll take it.

Update: the service and coziness has only gotten better over the years.
