We stopped by El Juan Mariscos & Grill on our way to Lake Waccamaw. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The Margaritas were delicious! The food had great flavor, the portions were huge and they had a variety of entrees. Erica was our server. She was prompt, professional and friendly! I would highly recommend this place!

Sergios burrito was good. My wife ordered the chimichongas; they were horrible. Dried out, chicken tasted old. I wouldn’t go back. Maybe short staff. Waitress forgot to ask us what we wanted to drink. I had to go to bar and get my lady a pepsi. Wendy’s would have been better

I have to edit my original review… Ordered fish tacos… Got fried fish on a tortilla… And the fish wasn’t very good. Then when asked, they said that’s the way a fish taco is!?!!! No… There’s usualy a cabbage slaw that goes on a fish taco. Usually the food and service is good. But that… I’m not sure if I’ll go back, if I do, I sure won’t order a fish taco!

As soon as we walked in we were greeted quickly. We ordered guacamole, churros, steak taco salad and elotes.
These dishes were made well and had an authentic atmosphere.
The guacamole is a bit salty.
The churros took a bit longer then necessary which was a bit confusing. There were multiple orders that came out before the churros which we figured would have been done quickly.
The fajita taco salad had steak and was delicious almost every bite and it came in a taco edible bowl. It was filled and well seasoned.
The the lotus were satisfying and loaded with the creme sauce. More seasoning would have been nice.
The other dishes were made very well. The taste was on point.

Soooo in love with this place , not because I work here, but because I also experienced the love , & kind people that come and support our home. Our customers feel great here and I would myself feel the love of everyone that stops by our regulars, weekenders & tourist feel the atmosphere we have and the extroudanary genuine , humble love we have for them!

I went during lunch time on a Friday and the waiters/service was amazing! They didn’t have horchata at the time, and the man went and MADE me some—kudos to him!!! and the wait staff—it is so nice to have good customer service—and even them going above and beyond really made my day. I will continue to support this local restaurant I highly recommend them! Thanks for taking care of us!

My daughter and her boyfriend just went there after school and my daughter orders a chimichanga and rice the plate comes cold and only beef in the chimichanga, rice looks watered down barely any color hardly any flavor! When they asked for a box because she didn’t want to make a scene the waiter yells across the restaurant in Spanish to my daughter whom doesn’t even speak the language! Not everyone who is Hispanic speaks the language. Do better!

They were very much understaffed for a Friday night during memorial day weekend but our waitress was working her ass off. She was serving one half of the restaurant (which was full) by herself and still managed to get our drinks and food out in a timely manner. The food was delicious, as were the drinks. Highly recommend!
