Stopped at The Coffee Grinder for day 1 Mothman Festival. Comfy & cozy atmosphere. They had decorations for fall & Halloween. The coffee was hot & delicious. I also enjoyed a “Mothman cookie”, very tasty! I sat and enjoyed my coffee & cookie. Staff was very pleased & accommodating. Plenty of tables & hi tables. I will definitely visit again when I’m down in the Point Pleasant area.

Coffee seemed like it was just brewed by pot and then had a little Carmel added in with a small amount of creamer. Cookies look cool but taste like a normal store bought cookie, other then the shape and decor nothing really special about it.
– parking seems like it’s not too hard to find around the area.
– overall not a bad place and worth visiting for moth man aesthetic.

Visited as part of an anniversary trip. We got the Mothman Cookies which, while a little pricy, tasted a lot better than we expected. Definitely beat the breakfast they offered at the hotel. The shop itself was very pleasant, and the staff were super helpful when it came to me ordering a bunch of the smaller cookies to go. I know that if I visit Point Pleasant again, I will be picking up some more cookies.

Spur of the moment adventure south to Point Pleasant for the afternoon. Besides the two working teenagers whispering and snickering back and forth to each other, it was an okay experience. The restroom was out of paper towels and semi clean. The espresso beans used was average at best. My advice to the owner would be to look into quality beans, and I am NOT talking about what Starbucks uses.

Nice little place with a cozy vibe. Lots of indoor seating, as well as an outdoor table or two. There was a little table with free treats for pets, and a large basket of produce they were giving away.
I ordered a plain hot latte, which was very good and just the right temperature. Service was fast and friendly.
The location is a short walk to a beautiful park.

Started our day in Point Pleasant here. The staff were super friendly and didn’t mind me making modification to my turkey wrap. Also got a tasty chia tea. Great stop for a basic light lunch.

I am so happy we stopped here during Mothman Festival, even though the line was out the door. Definitely worth it! I love the atmosphere inside the Cafe and all the decorations. The whole staff was so nice and had smiles on the whole time. The Mothman mural that you stick your face into was honestly awesome.
Because we came during the festival, there was of course a wait. Everyone wanted Mothman shaped cookies or decorated cupcakes. We even grabbed a pack of “Mothman Droppings” (chocolate covered espresso beans).
As a special during the festival, they were offering a $8.99 “Bucket Lunch”. It was a large plastic Halloween pail, with your choice of full sandwich or half a wrap, type of cookie (peanut butter, snickerdoodle, or chocolate chip), a bag of plain chips, and a drink (water, small coffee, or iced tea). This is an absolute steal for $9! You can tell it’s all being made fresh too.
Definitely check this place out when you’re in town, even if there’s a line!

I don’t know where to begin here. I just wanna write all of the words now because of how amazing yall are. Absolutely friendly staff who took their time to make sure we had everything we needed and spoke to us for a bit. The Taco Soup I got. The best soup I’ve had in a long time. Just the right amount of spice. The atmosphere was extremely relaxed and just super friendly. We bought 6 Mothman cookies and are excited to nibble on them later on. Y’all made my mum feel like she was a VIP and that means so much to me. Thank you.

My partner and I were excited to try out this coffee shop. Unfortunately the latte’s we got were 90% milk and the wrap was okay. I would definitely recommend getting the mothman cookie here but nothing else. The cookie was super cute and relatively affordable for how big it is.
