I had dinner here last night. It was a lovely restaurant and is housed in the Hyatt Regency Boston Hotel. Beautiful ambience. I ordered the clam chowder & lobster grilled cheese. Food was good. Service was awesome. Would definitely recommend for a nice dinner and cocktails ❤️

This restaurant is perfect. They made me an omelette exactly how I like it. The staff were fantastic and cooked the omelette on site for me. They made me a real nice ice coffe as well.

The seating area was quite and relaxing. Everything was clean and a more elegant experience with cloth napkins.

Prices were on the high end, but I was told that I would have to travel about a mile to find another decent breakfast joint.

The family did not want to leave the hotel room but they had to go items where I brought a muffin, bacon and a breakfast sandwich up to the room. The breakfast sandwich was very delicious, tasty and very filling. The bacon and eggs were plentiful and way better then the local DD.

The muffin. Was real tasty but was an average consistency as to what one would expect from a muffin sitting in a case.

We were told upon entering the hotel that we had $10 off if we ate here, but upon exiting they said it was only for dinner.

Over all we would eat here again as there are plenty of seats, the service was top notch and the eating area is very pleasant.

We went twice, once for lunch and once for drinks. Bar tenders were great and service excellent for the drinks later in the evening. For lunch, the service was not great. The busser and host were attentive. We waited 15 minutes before I had to ask the host to get the server for us to begin the order. Then took another 20 minutes for the food which wasn’t the correct order. He fixed that quickly but then after finishing eating took another 20 minutes for the bill. It was not busy and shouldn’t have been that long. We were one of two tables in the whole place. The pro was the food was delicious.

We did a take out order at the Avenue One Resturant located within the Hyatt Regency Boston. The service at the bar was outstanding, and the take out food was solid. They promote the New England style clam chowder as being award winning. I don’t know if that is true or not, but I will say that the chowder is darn good!

Don’t know why more people don’t know about this wonderful Boston restaurant! Perhaps it’s because it’s “hidden” inside the Hyatt Regency with no external sign?
Excellent food, artfully presented, at moderate prices. I enjoyed the salmon with a light mustard and maple glaze. My wife raved about her scrod.

For dessert, we shared a rich Guinness chocolate cake with fresh strawberries and blackberries. It came with a dish of “Irish Cream” vanilla ice cream.

Service by our waiter, Narayan, was friendly and professional and attentive.
Atmosphere is contemporary and classy, as well as quiet and relaxing.

Parking is easy in their underground garage for the Hyatt Regency Hotel. After our delicious dinner, we attended Boston Ballet just steps away.
Do yourself a favor and try Avenue One!

Great experience several times. The Green Monster egg casserole for breakfast was excellent, breakfast buffet was very well done, omelettes were excellent. Fresh fruits, yogurt, breads and meats were high quality. Meze plate was super! Wait staff were all professional and nice. Restaurant was clean, but some of the chairs were way too big and difficult to position.

The hosts and table servers at Avenue One Restaurant inside the Hyatt were friendly and helpful. The male host seated me immediately. The buffet selections were limited to French toast, sausage links, hash browns, croissants, cereal, fresh fruit, eggs, and an omelette/pancake bar. Coffee, hot tea, and juice (orange, grapefruit, and cranapple) are included in the buffet price of $28.89/person ($27 + 1.89 tax), as of May 2022. With tip, the final price was around $34/person. The food was delicious.

The employee working the omelette and pancake bar didn’t greet me nor did he acknowledge me when I said “Good morning” to him, but he did initiate a greeting to the two blonde women, who were standing in line behind me with a “Good morning”. Despite his behavior, I smiled, used a friendly voice tone, said please when I asked for items and thank you for when he gave me the food items. When I asked him for a pancake order (this was after I placed an omelette order), the employee turned his face partially towards the kitchen and I could see his profile and he rolled his eyes.

I went back a second time and heard the man say “Good morning” to a young White lady. It is possible he was having a bad day, but I paid the same price as the blondes, possibly more because I tip at least 20%, so if he is going to greet some customers, he should be consistent and greet all who come to him. He had a tip jar next to him and none of the White women whom I overheard he greeted put any money in that tip jar, and I certainly didn’t either.

My waiter was efficient, perhaps too much so, as he placed my bill on the table when the breakfast wasn’t even halfway finished — there were still plates of food on the table. I paid only when I finished eating. The French toast was out when I first came up to the buffet and was replenished only I came up much later.

There were onions in my omelette even though none were asked for. I noticed in the first picture I posted of the omelette toppings that there is some cross-contamination of items, so that’s probably how onions appeared in my omelette. If you have any serious allergies, please be aware.

Based on the review I thought I will like this place but food was not good at all, the wings was overcooked and tasted burn, the mango sauce was not match with the wings, steak tips was below average too. Pork chops was ths worst, tastless and too dry. Server was nice but not attentive, sad to say everything’s wrong here.

This was $38. Scallops were small and luke warm, on the border of being undercooked. Porkbelly was clearly deep fried so it was super tough and dry. The crema was too watery. The broccoli and cauliflower was just barely cooked, and not seasoned. Way over priced for the quantity and quality of food. I didn’t bother saying anything because I just wanted to eat and go back to my room because it was a long day at a training at the hotel. If I had paid, and not the company, I definitely would’ve said something.
