The tostones & maduros as well as the arroz con gandules were all very very good but the mofongo (trifongo!) and alcapurrias were my favorite. The owners/staff were very nice and you can tell they care a lot about their food and customers. There were also a ton of options and lots of traditional food that had a unique twist with reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend a visit!!!

The best food truck experience I have had, and this in the “country”. I source Latin food from several places in the area and this one is competing for best of them all. Service is soooo friendly and helpful. The tables and set-up is very nice and neat. Well done!

If you haven’t tried Grumpy Gallo that just hit the area, what are you even doing with your life? From the moment you roll up, the aromas alone will stop you in your tracks. We’re talking sofrito, garlic, smoky paprika, peppers onions, olive oil heaven. I tried the monfongo, tri fongo, empanadas , arroz con grandules, chirraon de pollo you get the picture and it was packed with authentic flavor, perfectly cooked, and generously portioned. You can tell every dish is made with love, tradition, and a little culinary swagger. Dont get me started on the desserts.This food truck is absolutely worth the hype. Friendly service, fast turnaround, and the kind of food that makes you do a happy dance after every bite.

This food truck has great food! I love empanadas and there chicken empanadas hit the spot! The pernil sandwich with seasoned fries was great as well! We spent about $30 and got a great portion of food. Even more was the service and how we instantly were treated like favorites. They gave water to our dog and offered treats for her. Such fantastic people that worked here.

Food is amazing. People are very personable also. Would highly recommend this place for the food to everyone. Everything is nice and fresh and hot. .Just wish they could expand into a restaurant also. There are so many Mexican food places but no Puerto Rican places. We definitely need one.

Grumpy Gallo is absolutely amazing! From the moment you arrive, the vibrant Caribbean colors, lively music, and mouthwatering aromas whisk you straight to Puerto Rico. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming.
We tried the yuca fries, empanadas, grumpy burger, and flan. Everything was packed with flavor and truly delicious.
I’m already planning my next visit… maybe even tomorrow!
