The service here was excellent and attentive. That’s the best part. I am disappointed by their chirashi, which is the first dish I try at any sushi restaurant. It’s meant to be an artistically presented variety of delicious sashimi over rice. This was not well presented, and some of the fish was off, not fresh. The tamago, too, was from a premade block, not freshly cooked. The prices overall were a little high for this part of town but not outrageous. The atmosphere is too modern for my taste, but some others would enjoy it. Too bad there were only 3 other customers here. I did enjoy the roll I ordered to make up for chirashi. Having coconut shrimp with pineapple is unique for a sushi roll and tasted very tropical. Very nice. Overall, not my favorite sushi experience.

We happened to be in Cypress and we were looking for a good Japanese restaurant to eat at. Went to one and we’re not happy then found this one and we’re pleasantly surprised.
There was no wait and not many people so we were wondering if it was going to be good. However, it was amazing! This was a little gem in cypress. The sushi was delicious.
We ordered one steak hibachi, crispy rice, and a sushi roll. The quality was great and we were very happy with the food overall.
If you live in the area, it’s definitely a place to check out!

I came here for the first time for lunch. A nice local sushi place with plenty of parking and spacious inside. The place was clean and decor was typical local sushi place. The service was as expected.
I ordered a typical combo from the lunch menu. The food was fresh and delicious, and the price was very reasonable.
I would come back if I am in the neighborhood again.

I think we need to promote the lunch menu more because that’s what we did, Price was great in the amount of food for lunch was good , That’s why the picture looks like it’s already been eaten. Plenty of seating parking is not bad.

The sushi was delicious, the place was nice, and the music wasn’t too loud, which was great—I don’t like having to talk over the music. There was plenty of fish and little rice, which was a pleasant surprise, and the fish itself was good.
The service was good, but the waiter was a bit confusing. Everything was fine, but some of our requests were not considered. And in the middle of our meal, he brought us the check even though we hadn’t asked for it and weren’t planning to leave. Of course, we didn’t take the check and stayed as long as we wanted.
But that moment felt awkward—it seemed like they were trying to rush us out, even though the restaurant was nearly empty, with only a couple of occupied tables. That was strange.
Other than that, we were happy with the place.

This is my second time eating here. The first time was for dinner with a party of 5. The drinks were on point! My favorite was the green tea drink (can’t remember what alcohol) was in it but it was refreshing, cold, and had a nice liquor balance. I am here for lunch and it doesn’t disappoint. It’s clean and the quality of food is excellent. A must try.

Decided to try out hibachi by the house. Walked in and was immediately greeted by hostess. Sat me down, and gave me a menu. Waitress came straight over to greet me. She brought me water and gave me some time to look over the menu. Decided on the edamame and the hibachi. They do not do in house hibachi with a show, but explain it’s the same thing just in the kitchen. They have both regular portions of hibachi and lunch portions which is called kitchen hibachi. I ordered the shrimp with a salad. It’s was pretty good and portion size was just right. Services was great! Staff was very nice and inviting. Will definitely come back again. Yuri was my server and even brought me a Togo water.

Came here today with my fiancee for lunch and was so glad we did! I had the TikTok roll, I forgot the name of the roll he got but he likes it and we shared the lunch filet hibachi. 10/10 on everything. Also, the dressing they use for their salad is delicious. The wait staff were all very kind and attentive and the prices are very reasonable. It’s a little bit of a drive for us, but if you are wanting good sushi or hibachi, it’s worth the drive. Absolutely will be back again ☺️

This was our first time visiting this restaurant, so we wanted to try a little bit of everything.
Appetizers:
Spicy garlic edamame had a nice flavor, edamame was not overcooked, and still had a little crunch to it. 5/5
Chicken Katsu was decent, the breading was nice, and so was the sauce. The only thing I didn’t like was that the chicken wasn’t tenderized and a bit tough. If they tenderized the chicken, it would have been perfect. 4/5
The salad with the Japanese style dressing had a nice ginger kick to it but also had a nice sweetness to the flavor. I would have asked for more, but we had ordered a lot of food, so I wanted to save room for the entrées. 5/5
Entrées:
The Chicken hibachi was ok. The chicken could have been cooked a little bit longer and lacked flavor. It could have used more seasoning, we had to ask for some extra teriyaki sauce on the side for dipping. The vegetables were cooked nicely and we’re delicious. The rice and miso soup that came with the entrée was also on point, nice flavor, and the rice wasn’t overloaded with soy sauce. 3/5
Spicy Miso Tonkotsu was the star of the show. Delicious, deep flavored broth with tender, well cooked pork with awesome flavor. Not much more you could ask for in a Tonkotsu ramen. 5/5
The hostess, waitress, and staff were all very friendly and helpful. We’ll be back to try some of the other options on the menu!
