I watched them make about 8 pre orders (this was about lunch time) and afterwards, they bagged my order to go. Once I opened my order and tried it, the shrimp tasted either overcooked or old. The shrimp was hard. I’m not impressed with this plate at all. I’m really disappointed. The vegetables were fresh, and I feel like the veggies were only fresh because they were already cooking them for the other pre orders.
The place is clean and a little roomy. There’s seating and good selection music playing. The staff were very friendly and nice. They told me 7 minutes for my order and it was given to me right around 5 minutes. So they’re very quick (but I do question if “quick” puts a dent in quality).
This review is my opinion of the Shrimp Sauté plate only. I cannot speak for the rest of the menu, which they have a large selection. I don’t believe I’ll come here again purposely, but I would try something else off the menu if I didn’t want anything else in the area.
On door dash please clearly label integrediants and veg or vegan so that it will be quick to decide.
So I got the chicken teriyaki & tempura combo w/ salad & upgraded the rice to fried rice (shown in photo). The price was $21-22 of course I tipped because this is a fav spot of mine right next to a nail shop. It only took about 5-6min to receive my order.
Always 10 minutes no matter your order, always steaming hot when you pick up, and the order lady who usually works is very kind & cheery, loves to give out little sweets treats too!
I recommend this place for takeout any day, good pricing for large portions too.
I have been in search of a new teriyaki option in the neighborhood & I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant.
This was my first time, so I can’t speak for the consistency, but I will definitely be coming back to get the dine-in experience.
Pro-tip: Order the saute so that you get grilled veggies rather than the salad, which doesn’t have much nutritional value or the taste that the grilled option gives you. Not bad at all at coming in at just below the $16 price point.
Midas 5-stars for the juicy chicken in the saute, the good balance in sauce, good portions (2-scoops of rice, & not burning my food.
