Favorite place to eat in Brentwood. The food is prepared just right and pair great with their garlic butter or yum yum sauce. You cant go wrong with either. We typically get the steak and shrimp combo with either steamed or garlic fried rice. It’s a bit pricey but well worth it. Suggestion if your buying for groups of 4 or more, definitely order a party tray, will get your fill and save you money. Amazing food is all I can say without drooling.

Today my wife and I somehow really wanted to get some teppenyaki for lunch. We opened google map and found this one in Brentwood and we decided to pay a visit from Concord, which is approximately 30 mins of drive. It turns out that we have discovered another hidden gem. We ordered steak and shrimp teppenyaki and fried calamari. They are so well cooked and the amount is so big. We’ll definitely revisit.

I had high hopes for this place, since it showed 5 stars. It was without any doubt the worst Japanese food I ever had the sadness of earing. First, they say they have Teppanyaki. I enjoy real teppanyaki, where the chef cooks in front of the diners with funny tricks. I had teppanyaki chicken with garlic fried rice. It was cooked in the back kitchen in secret. Thr server brought it out served in a plastic clamshell containing the driest toughest chicken I ever tried. (See photo of plastic fork bent tines) speaking of bent fork, cheapest plastic cutlery on the market. Tempura was okay, but sparse. Water was served in a clear plastic disposable cup. Thos place is a future no go for me.

Another great find in Brentwood. The food was good my husband turtle enjoyed that it was not over seasoned or greasy. It was clean and simple for him. I enjoyed the fried rice and veggie more than anything I can order just that next time.
The pricing was reasonable to good food it was about $12-$15 depending on the combination.

Used to eat here more often, but they are pricey. Its not worth the price anymore for what is barely better than panda express. Barely any veggies. Meat wasn’t great. The only saving grace is the garlic fried rice, which is a $2 up charge. I do think this place is more geared to being fast food, and I know they have decent quality, but it was not on display tonight. Hopefully they can address the quality issues, because they were great when I first tried them 3 or 4 years ago…

This is probably my 3rd time here. My wife had been going here a lot, but I got the Teppanyaki Steak and Chicken and the chicken was really dry and on top of that my food was only warm. My wife’s food was really hot so I don’t understand why my food was only warm.

February update: Second order; we liked it just as much! Adding pictures for Chicken Skewers (appetizer), Salmon Teppanyaki, Gyoza (app), and Shrimp Teppanyaki. Also ordered the NY Steak Teppanyaki; that is my new favorite entree, with the Gyoza remaining my favorite overall dish.
(December) Just tried Fuji Grill for the first time and am impressed! Large order was ready on time. Each item looked like the pictures on their website. (I’ll try to remember to take and upload pics here when I next order.) My personal favorite was the gyoza, which had a wonderful and slightly spicy dipping sauce. I could have 2 orders of that and call it dinner! We also ordered chicken, shrimp, and salmon teppanyaki with both steamed and fried rice. Everyone loved what they ordered. They are very generous with the rice, so next time I will order a side of protein with an entree, instead of another full entree. (I’m not sure this can be done with online ordering, but can be done ordering by phone.) Also enjoyed the miso soup, edamame, and seaweed salad. Definitely a place to order from again!
