Ono Hawaiian BBQ was delicious! We waited about 20 minutes for our order, and it was absolutely worth it. The hot, flavorful chicken with teriyaki sauce was amazing — juicy, fresh, and very satisfying.
The portion size is huge. We even had to take some food to go, and for such a generous portion, the price is very reasonable. In similar places, this kind of meal usually costs more.
It’s a great spot with seating available both indoors and outdoors. There is paid street parking along the road. Overall, a very good place — we’ll definitely be coming back.

What a grand opening! They had all hands on deck and it seemed like everyone was working hard and efficiently. They had buy one get one free for the grand opening which was a great deal, but even with the regular price this place has insane value. The portions are very big and the food is delicious. A fantastic addition to Lake Ave restaurants!

Me and my brother enjoy it and so as the teriyaki sauces but they serve us a big thick inner layer cabbage as well core and didn’t have broccoli. It was a take out so there nothing to expected from it. But ya next time do better.

For some reason, both times when I had to use the restroom, there is someone using it for 10 minutes. One time I knocked 4 times and when he got out he yelled at me even though he has been there for 10 minutes. It’s so infuriating

was a bit shocked this place doesn’t have loco moco! or it could be that they don’t have printed menus & the digital display only rotates 5 photos of 45 combos at a time (which is slightly annoying on a first visit as it makes it difficult to see everything they offer!)
Where I will give credit is bang for the buck! I had the chicken & katsu combo & I had to take 1/3 home there was so much food for like $14.
I do wish dine-in was on plates instead of universally getting plastic containers but I get it, this is casual dining.
The place has a weird set up where the hallway on the right shares traffic w the staff getting orders. I think it’s because the store is too narrow. I wouldn’t want to sit in the seats in the back. Sit in the front or out in the patio!

It doesn’t taste like Hawaii food, the chickens is not fresh and very dry. Rice is good broccoli is hard to chew.

You get a lot of food for the price! As a student you’re just happy to eat a lot of meat for a reasonable price. Will be coming back!
