I really dislike leaving bad reviews always trying to find more positives than negatives but in this case…. it’s all about food. I have a good idea how Indian cuisine works as I visited plenty of different restaurants in the UK. Sadly what I had today wasn’t near I tried elsewhere and frankly that was first and the last time I’ve ordered from Jashir.
Chicken and lamb mix for instance, I could spot a few chicken pieces but apparently lamb had an accident and had to be minced. The main issue I had was oil, it was everywhere in amounts I couldn’t stand, even fish and chips aren’t soaked that much in it. Why, I am sking you, why?
Giving 3 stars as delivery was in no time and the whole process of ordering was rather pleasant and easy.
last but not least you’ll pay for delivery, for packing your food and for bag….
Quick edit, so what I understood from Jashir’s reply is that when the food is hot oil goes somewhere else and when cold it magically appears back? Sorry for sarcasm but oil IS in food and it’s way too much of it.
One more troubling thing, are they saying that food, when served at their restaurant is better quality than what are they delivering?

We had a wonderful evening at Jashir in Spalding! We visited as a family to celebrate my birthday, and the whole experience was perfect from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious – full of rich flavours and beautifully cooked. The service was spotless, attentive without ever feeling rushed, and the team made us feel truly welcome.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and inviting, which made it an ideal place for a special family meal. To top it all off, we were even surprised with a complimentary dessert as a birthday treat – such a thoughtful gesture that made the evening extra special.
Highly recommend Jashir if you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine and a fantastic dining experience in Spalding. We’ll definitely be returning!

Very nice food. It came out hot and looked amazing, everything was so tasty. Staff were excellent, catering to all of our needs quickly and were always around if we needed anything! Nice atmosphere in the restaurant and was spacious.

Genuinely one of the nicest curries we have ever had!
Everything cooked to perfection and full of flavour, the cocktails are also worth a try.
We could not fault the service, staff so friendly and welcoming and make you feel at home.
We came here for our anniversary as we were staying in the area and so glad we did, little bonus was we got served a lovely ice cream sundae on the house for dessert.
Shame we don’t live nearby as this would be a regular.

This is the BEST Indian in Spalding! Everything was so fresh hot and perfect. The flavours of the food were incredible. The naans where to die for loved the crisp to them. Customer service was amazing and extremely attentive. If you’re debating on coming then PLEASE listen to this review and then thank me later 🙂
