I was delivering a trailer close by and having passed this place a half a dozen times, I decided to get dinner to go from Kickback Jacks.
I got the ribs with baked beans, slaw and a side of sweet potato fries.
These ribs were made the way ribs are supposed to be made! Hot, meaty, juicy and dripping with a sweet smoky vinegar sauce!
The baked beans were on point! These baked beans were definitely not just popped out of a can. They were meaty, sweet and smoky! This is the epitome of southern baked beans!
This sweet potato waffle fries were hot, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and perfect all by themselves. At first I didn’t know what the sauce was but after dipping one of the fries into this maple like syrup, I realized that these sweet potato fries went next level with the sweetness of the syrup.
I’ve mentioned in some of my other reviews how I am very particular about my coleslaw and I have very strong opinions on how coleslaw should be made. This coleslaw was finally chopped perfectly. It was dressed very well but it wasn’t soupy. The slaw dressing was creamy, tangy, seasoned and slightly sweet. I would recommend just a little bit of honey to increase the sweetness just a little. Overall it was one of my top three coleslaw’s I’ve ever had!
Not too bad on the price but the portions were generous which provided a great lunch the next day.

Lunch time and I’m starving so I decided to check this place out. I ordered the chicken hot honey sandwich with house-cut fries. The chicken was flavorless and it was mushy and wet. I took a bite and the bun was wet mush I spit it out. I tried to at least eat ther chicken but I had enough. The fires I got was not good mostly little cuts. Sever knew something was wrong but didn’t care he would just rush by everything ok? While walking past me well if you stopped we can have a discussion. I even tried to wave down other servers but they avoided me as well. At this point I want to just leave cause I’m still hungry and just spent money on horrible food and bad service.

Came for dinner as I have never been. Atmosphere inside were relaxed, easy rock and the games are all on in the background. Service took just a little bit, however our waiter was quite a busy fellow. Overall good place to come and have a bite to eat, or bring your kids for something.

Wings were tiny and one of them was a tip and not even a flat or drum. Nothing was done to make up for it, just an “oh man, they did it again.” Paid for 10 wings and got 9 very small ones. Definitely not worth the price. The salad was good. Decent atmosphere, nice patio area.

We enjoyed our dinner at kickbacks, The firecracker shrimp, Philly cheesesteak, Ribeye and Ribs, Strawberry Delight Dessert were good. Fried buffalo wings were fair I think I will try them grilled next time. Service was great

Great ambience. I tried counting the TV screens and gave up after 30. The food and service was very good. Good crowd at 4pm on Saturday.
There is an outdoor bar and seating area.
My only complaint is my wife’s ma
rgarita had little or no alcohol in it. That seems to be a current trend in a lot of places.
Recommend getting a beer or wine to know what you’re getting.

There was a 10 minute wait when we arrived we were seated by 2:40, and had our order in by 2:45 our server topanga was wonderful. we ordered 2 entrees wings and chicken tenders. the side salad came out in a timely manner then waited 28 minutes for the chicken tenders and the wings took another 10 minutes. the chicken tenders were disappointing to say the least. the fries were burnt and they clearly need to change the oil in the fryer.. the wings were okay. the server offered to get the manager which we agreed to. jason the manager on duty came over to only say “heard you waited a while for the wings it’s on us” and walked away before we could say anything back, we then overheard him at another table apologizing for something else. we ended up being there for well over an hour. definitely would not recommend.

Zelvin and Brandon at the bar were absolutely kicking butt and taking names! They were fast, friendly, and incredibly efficient. Brandon was our main server, but Zelvin jumped in constantly—these two are a true well-oiled machine.
This was our first visit to Kick Back Jack’s, and we were seriously impressed. The food came out fast, fresh, and so good. We started with the spicy shrimp appetizer, boneless wings, and grilled wings. The garlic buffalo sauce was fantastic, and the blue cheese dressing is hands-down the best I’ve ever had—clearly homemade and absolutely delicious.
For entrées, we had the ribs and shrimp, the Cuban sandwich, and the hot honey chicken sandwich. The standout was the hot honey chicken sandwich—it was HUGE and unbelievably fresh. Honestly, it tasted like the chicken was butchered right before it hit the grill!
Side note: we probably won’t sit in the bar area on the patio again since smoking is allowed there—but that didn’t take away from the great service or food.
Overall, this was a great experience from start to finish. Amazing service, great food, and a fun atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
