Got my order wrong, display screens don’t work, lackluster atmosphere (if you can even call it that), food had a pool of oil at the bottom. When I think of all the deserving restaurants that have shuttered on St Paul, Ajumma offers no compelling case to stay open.

I got the squid bulgogi for takeout which came out to about 13 dollars. I love Korean food and I will say this place is decent (obvs not the best Korean food you will ever have but pretty delicious imo). The stir-fried squid was tasty with right amount of heat. The squid is stir-fried with some veggies and served with rice. It was a good filling lunch for a reasonable price. I will come back when I am craving Korean food. If you like seafood and spicy food, I highly recommend squid bulgogi!

Hands down the best food in all of Baltimore. Just enough spice and so well cooked. I used to come here multiple times a week while I was in college and I’m so happy to see it’s still around. I still dream about the chicken bulgogi

Food was very tasty. Kimchi Fried rice wasn’t made like I’m used to but the Yukkae Jjang was very good!

Tried the chicken bulgogi and it was really good. The owner, named Ajumma, was very nice and friendly. Very reasonably priced too! Plenty of indoor seating available.

Eddie and Dom sent me here… smh. I paid $11 for a bowl of white rice with 7 pieces of chicken in it. Was tasty but felt like a big rip off

It was great, but not anymore. I haven’t seen Ajumma herself in the past few months, and the quality of the food (beef bulgogi platter in particular) obviously deteriorated. It becomes like typical fusion Asian food – unpleasantly salty with amateur application of soy sauce and other Asian condiments. I speculate that the ownership of this restaurant has been transferred to its former kitchen helpers, who is unfamiliar with Asian cuisine despite their experience working with Ajumma.

Quick convenient hibachi food. I think it’s the best calorie to dollar value in CV other than Chipotle

I only got the dumpling soup bc I can’t chew much right now, and it was F I R E !! Their broth is savory, the dumplings are delicious and the guy that was serving was super friendly.. and the prices are pretty good. Definitely excited to go back and try more when I can chew better!! Highly recommend.
