I ordered the General Tso’s chicken, and it came with wonton soup and fried rice. They actually offer three different soup options and multiple rice choices, which is a great touch — but I stuck with wonton soup and fried rice, and I’m so glad I did.
As soon as I sat down, the waitress brought me hot tea. It was strong and aromatic — not watered down like some places serve. That already set the tone for the meal.
The wonton soup had two large pork wontons in it, and they were delicious. Even the fried rice had meat in it — not just plain rice like you sometimes get with lunch specials. The General Tso’s chicken came in a cute little tray, and both the chicken and broccoli were cooked perfectly. Honestly, it exceeded my expectations.
The service was just as impressive. The waitress was very attentive throughout the meal. On top of everything, the lunch special also included fried wontons!
I finished my lunch with pistachio ice cream and a fortune cookie — the perfect ending.
The total before tip was only $10.70 — and even after tip, I still paid less than $15. For everything I received, that’s an absolute steal.
I can’t stress enough how satisfied I was with everything. Great food, generous portions, attentive service, and an unbeatable price. This place is an absolute gem. You’ve got to stop by and give them a visit!
They put noodles and hot tea on the table.
The soup was salty but still good.
If you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience, I highly recommend Beijing Palace. This superb Chinese restaurant has quickly become my go-to spot for delicious food and fantastic lunch specials.
The dishes here are absolutely mouthwatering! Each meal is bursting with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. Whether you’re in the mood for classic favorites like General Tso’s Chicken or something more adventurous, you won’t be disappointed. Every bite is a delight.
What truly sets this restaurant apart is their amazing lunch special! For an unbeatable price, you get a hearty meal that includes a generous portion of your choice, rice, and the best part—ice cream for dessert! It’s not just a meal; it’s a full experience.
In summary, Beijing Palace offers delicious food, incredible lunch specials with ice cream, and a welcoming atmosphere. Don’t miss out on this gem—your taste buds will thank you!
The food was less than wonderful. The “fried” dumplings were terrible. The dough was too thick and wasn’t cooked all the way through. The filling was undercooked/raw and tasteless. Awful. The lo mein was lackluster. There was hardly any flavor to them and they were white – not your typical soy colored noodles. The general Tso chicken was way too sweet and the pieces of chicken were huge – not your typical crispy exterior and smaller bites. The ribs were awful. The wonton soup broth was ok. The wontons were overcooked and falling apart. The white rice and fried rice both terrible – overcooked and lackluster in taste. Shrimp and broccoli was actually ok but the sauce was white and soupy. The egg rolls were good. For a $200 order – this was a horrible meal. Won’t be back and don’t recommend.
When you talk about Chinese food take out, there are many, but this place just totally max out what you can do with this calargory.
Talk about hard to find, it’s almost like hiding, if you don’t look for this restaurant, you won’t find it.
It really is nothing special on the outside with a very standard style Chinese take out menu.
But this gets better as soon as the food comes out. First, The chicken wing. holy sh xT they are crispy and juicy. You will not expect these wings from a Chinese restaurant.
Then the sesame chicken/ orange chicken. It is crispy once again with those glazed sauces, but unlike your normal Chinese food places, it’s meat in there without just breading.
Combo fried rice is totally full stack with all of the ingredients, for sure they didn’t take a short cut.
The Flat rice noodles with beef are saucey with some fire power.
A truly family owned American Chinese restaurant.
Panda Express on crack is an understatement.
We ordered Combination Platters includes soup Wonton or Egg Drop , egg roll and rice choice of ham fried rice, white rice, or brown rice.
My wife ordered the Green Pepper Steak with onions. I opted for the Shrimp with Chinese Vegetables .
Both were just ok, not special.
