Sad little cafe that needs a little TLC. My eggs over easy were over medium. The bacon appeared to have been microwaved to death. Took over 35 minutes to get food and waitress never asked if everything ok. Felt like she didn’t want to be there.

Every town needs one of these diners. Hutch burger fries and shrimp were all good (3.5). Service (4.0). Place appeared clean.

Hutch’s Cafe is a great local restaraunt that I have made as a new favorite and more common place to go to. Food is good, reasonable prices and the service is good as well. If anyone is passing through and not been here, I do recommend it.

Very friendly staff. The $7.00 fish and chips was great. Great value for the food too.

At Hutch’s Café anything is possible. Don’t see it on the menu. They will make a special order. The eggs Benedict was the best I’ve had outside of Paris, France. Waiters and waitresses, sing, and dance while serving you a rack of lamb. The locals are some of the smartest people in Iowa. Many of them are fluent in French, Italian, Spanish, Latin and Greek. They can discuss national politics, international relations and world trade. Copies of the New York Times are available on every table . This is an intellectual center in the middle of the prairie.

Nice little diner with probably the greatest value for money we had on our long road trip across the states. We had breakfast and burgers. The food was very decent.
