Habebh Sweets is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and an amazing selection of fresh, authentic Middle Eastern desserts. Everything we tried was perfectly made—fresh, flavorful, and not overly sweet. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite.
The staff was friendly, patient, and happy to help us choose, which made the experience even better. Whether you’re picking up something for guests or just treating yourself, Habebh Sweets never disappoints. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be back!

You’d think with such a big name and reputation this place would be top notch on every aspect but it’s not! Rude employees long wait time and lack of customer service and friendliness. Not to mention we have this place a second shot and said let’s give the benefit of doubt only to be even more disappointed!! We ordered three of the biggest size kınafa fingers and we asked two of them to be cheese and one kishtah only to be surprised as we start serving “ which is when it would be too late to address them “ that all were kishtah tho we emphasized what we wanted when we ordered!! Reminder that the kishtah is the cheaper option and we got the whole order that way. tho we paid the difference!! And for a total purchase of $220 was going to be charged an extra $20 if we opted for a card as method of payment!! Never again and I don’t recommend this place period because it pretty much lacks everything and most of all honestly and manners.as you can see in photos the food isn’t even well prepared or neatly done.
UPDATE: no it was actually all kishtah and yes one box was labeled kishtah and the two others weren’t but it was all definitely the same which was kishtah!

. First, thank you for your response and attention — it shows you care about the success of your business.
I drove an hour and fifteen minutes from Northbrook to your location. When I arrived, the shop was closed and you were still preparing inside. By coincidence, someone informed me you were taking orders, so I ordered a tray for 6–8 people. It was ready in about 10 minutes and cost $74, without any explanation for the pricing.
Unfortunately, the box had an unpleasant smell and the packaging was very basic. When I arrived home, I found the tray soaked in syrup even though I requested the syrup on the side (and I was actually given an extra syrup container).
Overall, my experience was not successful, and I hope these issues will be addressed soon, especially with Ramadan approaching.
With respect.

The sweets here might be good, but the customer service ruins the whole experience. The man behind the counter always looks irritated, never smiles, and acts like helping customers is a burden. Every visit feels uncomfortable, like he’s doing everyone a favor just by doing his job. Definitely not the welcoming atmosphere you expect from a sweet shop.

I gave it a 5 star review before, but after trying it multiple times I have to be honest. They are only good when it’s fresh, in my experience. Basically when you see a new one coming out that hasn’t sat there getting overheated over amd over. Otherwise, they overheat the knafa and the texture and taste of the cheese is terrible. Maybe its a night time thing? It was great when I had ot around 12-1pm.
Maybe its not meant for knafa plates…

Honestly, the kunafa tastes wonderful and absolutely delicious. The place is clean, the service is excellent and fast, and the presentation is exceptional. Thank you very much for your efforts!

You come to our community and charge premium prices you should have some decency and respect your customers and serve them what you falsely advertise . Sloppy servings the person just slapped on the plate and not evenly cut, $30 for this disaster of a plate should be an embarrassment to your brand. Your tables and chairs need to be cleaned. We the community need to stand up against these types of establishments that take advantage of us.

As a regular customer, I think this is the best kunafah in town, hands down. Very friendly staff and great service. Highly recommended.
