1st time trying, was looking to go somewhere in Lexington that we hadn’t been before. Didn’t notice in reviews that it really is primarily a take out place. Has small seating avail, but really close. Food was timely, made fresh, but it wasn’t busy. Husband got Shrimp and Grits which includes sausage and he loved it. I got shrimp basket with hushpuppies which were good. Menu states comes with 4 small corn and 2 sides. I did not get corn with my meal. My side was brussel sprouts and fried rice which were ok. We also got cheesy potatoes which had Old Bay and Nacho cheese on them. They were too spicy to eat. I eat Old Bay seasoned stuff all the time, but this was too much for us. So they were not eaten. Overall I recommend if you like really spicy or seasoned food and you want take out. We live about 20 min away and didn’t plan take out so we also had lukewarm food so keep in mind when going for take out. It is a unique menu that appeals to a lot of people.

Oh my goodness. Definitely best seafood in Lexington. The flavor of the food is phenomenal. I had the blackened fish tacos , the pieces of fish were huge , the sauce was so good . Just the perfect bite. The fried deviled eggs were pretty good but I could go without eating those again. The wings were ok, nothing too spectacular. The seafood is so delicious though, I will be eating these tacos again no doubt. Staff is friendly and hospitable, no complaints ! Great prices and great food ! If I want seafood in lexington I will always chose lou Lou’s !!

This was my first time to Lou Lou’s and it will not be my last. The vibe was everything the music playing was so cool. The customer service excellent. Oh yes this is a must if you ever come to Lexington NC you gotta stop here. They have more than just seafood. Wings, salad etc and peaches cobbler but it was sold out. The cotton candy lemonade yes ma’am so good.

Food was really good! We got the mini boil, chicken wings, flounder basket/hush puppies and crab macaroni and cheese. Everything was really delicious (just the mac was a bit too salty for our taste but definitely still really good!) Staff was friendly and everything was really clean, including the tables and restroom. We definitely recommend!

Ordered the Big Bubba Fish Sandwich. WOW! It was so delicious! Two big pieces of fish longer than the bun! The Crab & Shrimp Boil was awesome! And the Crab Mac & Cheese… OH MY!

This will be our new favorite spot to stop at to get takeout as we come into town.
The shrimp poboy, the grilled shrimp platter, and the fried deviled eggs were all fantastic! Flavors were on point. I am a huge shrimp fan. These were succulent. Not too small, not too big. The brussels sprouts side was also excellent. The only thing I wasn’t as crazy about were the hush puppies, which are a bit firmer than the ones I grew up with in the low country.
We live in Lexington quite a few months out of the year, but we come from Asheville, where we both work. Often we need to work during the day and then head up to Lexington, and it’s a 2 1/2 hour drive, so by the time we arrive, we are hungry, but we don’t want to sit down to dinner, because we want to get to the lake house!
We are thrilled we found this place! Now we just stop here on our way in; the food is prepared really quickly, and we just take it all back to the lake and have a feast. See photos. I want to try everything on the menu!

I finally had the chance to stop by and check out Lou’s Lou’s Seafood in Lexington this month and it was well worth the wait. The staff is very friendly and accommodated our small group event comfortably. The menu has a number of seafood options to try including the famous boils. The Thai Chili Salmon was the best that I have had and the lobster mac was delicious. I’m looking forward to trying a lot more of their menu options and desserts when I visit the area now.

First timer here. The flavors are just fantastic. Best food I have ever eaten by far. Such friendly staff. Everything was perfect! Food was definitely made with love. My husband and myself will definitely be back. We can’t believe the place has been here for 2 years and we didn’t know. Just a small Google search on places to eat in Lexington and BAM.. Found a hidden gem ! Everyone should eat here. 10 stars

Absolutely delicious. I got a build your own combo and it was slamming!! My wife loved hers as much as me. The butter garlic sauce had the perfect amount of flavor and it made the potatoes and corn amazing. My wife said the hushpuppies are the best she has ever had and I agree. Amazing all around Its pricey but well worth it. I will be going here quite often.

Tonight was our first time eating here. It is the most amazing food I have had. Now they have a small amount of seating inside. The most amazing brussel sprouts I’ve ever had. Definitely coming back!
