Stopped by for a few slices. Decent selection of toppings and the slices were cooked to my liking. I got a plain and a BBQ chicken. Both were tasty. Similar to other pizza place in the area they have an expansive menu. I’ll be back to try some other items.

One of the best pizza places at the Jersey shore. They use the best blend of cheese- full of flavor. Very good sauce and thin but chewy crust. We enjoyed meeting the owner, Dario, very friendly. His father started the business-57 years ago. Nice spot to come in for a slice. Cash only. Plenty of seating. Takeout pizzas were delicious as well!

I called and asked if they could do a margarita pizza and they said yes. They gave me a white pizza instead and put barely any marinara or basil on it. Not only did they not know how to make a margarita pizza, it tasted terrible. We even had to add oregano to make it slightly edible. Hate to give a local business a bad review but when you have a bad product it warrants it, and it’s a shame because even their plain slices which are normally good were even bad today. What a shame…

Wait 2 hours for deninos instead, ill be doing it from now on. We called and asked if they could do a margarita pizza and they said yes. They gave me a white pizza instead and put barely any marinara or basil on it. Not only did they not know how to make a margarita pizza, it tasted terrible.

Vesuvios is fantastic. Last night I got an eggplant Parmesan sandwich and I was worried that it would be the ‘modern’, floppy, tasteless frozen version that is so common at pizzerias but this one was heaven.
It was clearly made from scratch and with love.

During our wandering out to see how hectic the last couple of shopping day’s before Christmas were, we stopped here for a number of slice’s of pizza.
Had seen this places advertised on a t-shirt of a employee at another Pizzeria that Kit and I had been to last week.
While on Facebook this morning a Vesuvio’s Nicky’s Place was in my feed. It was for a Pizzeria in Millstone, NJ and when I did a Google search it was listed as was this location…
They both were 30 minutes away, but since we were going to be out and about in the Brick and Tom’s River areas, This one in Point Pleasant won the New Place to Us Drop-in!!!
Kit Dwight , chose 2 Plain slices and I had 2 Pepperoni & Sausage slices and also a Plain slice…
All slice’s were delicious, the cheese, sauce and the toppings were of good quality, but I would of liked more crumbled Sausage and slice’s of Pepperoni on the slices.
Typical Family ran Small Business in a hole in the wall location that makes it friendly!!!

It’s always such a treat, coming to Vesuvios. Family tradition, multi-generational, always consistent. It’s where I take our out of town friends who want really good pizza. Dario is always so nice.

Old school but the owner Dario is creative and building up the menu. He’s kind and generous. I’ve been coming here over 30 years. My fave slice in town. Try their new breakfast on weekends they’re awesome with coffee. And the new breadsticks, and fresh scratch soups in the colder months. Love the mesh of old school and innovation. Shout out to all the workers.

The best classic Neapolitan pizza around. I recommend a large pie fresh from the oven and an ol ‘school RC fountain soda. The fast and friendly service is tops. Good vibes here. That’s living.
