Family-owned and operated, we have over 40 years of combined experience in the restaurant industry in Thailand. Our mission is to bring our traditional flavors and craftsmanship to you locally. We take pride in using only the freshest and most high-quality ingredients in all of our recipes. In fact, our family recipes have been passed on generation from generation for decades. Wasn’t much for Thai food before, but it seems I can’t get enough of their chicken fried rice and Kung pao chicken!!! This is one of those places I need to wear my “stretchy ” waistband pants for because I always eat till I’m round and uncomfortable lol. If you like Thai food, run to this place!!! Decent pricing for the quantity. Typical americanized Thai restaurant. Looks better for takeout given the small size of the space. All the norms on the menu. Had Pad Thai, good, Red Curry, good and spicy along with a couple other dishes. Won’t knock your socks off but appears to be a solid spot off one visit. We’ll order from them again.

The food is definitely good but their prices are just high. This is a tiny neighborhood restaurant that prices their food as a higher scale restaurant. I took my children out because I remember their food being good, but, since my wife had always used her card to pay, I hadn’t realized their prices were high. Starting with the food, anything we ordered had delicious taste. We had Chicken Panang, Bangkok Fried Thai Rice and Fisherman Party (Seafood Curry). They were not excellent but they were very good. We tried ordering from their $12.99 lunch specials list when I realized that none of their lunch specials are priced with meat. Even if you want plain chicken, you end up with a $14.99 lunch “special”. And if you want a veggie roll with it, it will cost you $0.75 more. I looked throughout their menu and they do the same thing for almost anything in it. Which means that, you are buying sauces and some veggies when you order their meals. I have never seen anything like this anywhere in Los Angeles or thoughout the US for this matter. Definitely not expected in a neighborhood restaurant. Kind of sad… I have to admit that I didn’t leave my minimum 20% tip this time. I felt nickeled and dimmed. This is a tiny, not-really-spruced-up, kind-of-modest restaurant in a strip mall deep in Santa Clarita. I am not sure when they started charging separate for the chicken on their meals, but they are definitely charging out-of-range prices for food. Ah yeah! Forgot to say… for these prices you don’t even get water in a real glass, you get a disposable plastic cup. I am sorry guys, I’m not sure I’m coming back.

I’m so thankful I found this little cute Thai Chef’s restaurant in Santa Clarita. When I moved to Santa Clarita from the Westside, my biggest frustration is not finding good restaurants. I felt like all of that I see are mostly chain restaurants, if not, one that is family owned but struggling to make it a success. While I don’t blame the many because of the past pandemic and now, the getting worse economic climate, it does create more of a challenge to find real good restaurants in here.
There are a few of course that I’ve found, and they are very far and in between and I can count them with my fingers.
For Thai food, Thai Chefs is definitely one of the best finds I had! It is a cute little boutique restaurant with nice decor and ambiance that of a Thai restaurant. It is located at a little strip mall at the corner of Copper Hill and Seco Canyon. It is family operated by the Thai lady owner and some of her family and small staff, that is why the food is as good, flavorful and legit authentic Thai! Yay! What a find! And I couldn’t stop sharing this to everyone I know, and my family actually don’t mind driving from OC now just to come meet me here in Thai Chefs.
I couldn’t tell you a specific item in the menu that stands out because they all are very good from their salads ( their chicken Larb and Papaya Salads are so good) to appetizers like their chicken satay, to their main dishes. And their dessert ( I never miss ordering the sweet sticky rice with mangoes) !
I can’t say enough of this place! The service is soooo good and they are all friendly, even the owner!
Prices are at par and the parking is so easy and are always available and free!
I’m going there to celebrate my girlfriends’ birthday again this evening! I no longer have to drive to the Westside like West LA or Hollywood for a good Thai food fix.
Can’t wait for you to try this place!
