Horrible experience. I showed up they did not recognize me so that they didn’t have it to go order for me so I left. I checked my numbers and it was a place I called so I go back in there and tell them they didn’t have an order for me. They finally found my order. It got to me. I asked if I had soy sauce. They said I did have soy sauce in the bag. I got back home open the bag no soy sauce sushi rolls cold Horrible experience.

The next day. They called me directly. Offered credit and sincerely felt bad. Wonderful environment

Our server was very friendly they also apparently have a $10,000 robot that serves the food. My food did not seem hot but it was not cold. I got lobster and steak and it didn’t seem like much. They probably could’ve done more veggies but other than that it was OK tasty add ginger sauce and Yum Yum sauce. The ginger sauce was pretty good. The salad was good but I had a lot of water in the bottom. She did replace the salad and also bring me extra dressing, the soup was standard for most of these hibachi type restaurants. Also, they do not cook in front of you. It’s cooked in the back and brought out the price did seem a little high for what you got I’m guessing maybe 2 to 3 ounces of chicken 3 to 4 ounces of steak I paid 35 I think for lobster and steak. Anyways, it was nice but I probably won’t be back to this one. It’s not that I don’t recommend it. It’s just Soso for me. my other family members might go back was there a verdict.

Great experience at the bar. High quality fresh sushi and sashimi. Special gift from the chef after dinner. No happy hour or lunch menu items in Sunday. Little expensive but mostly worth it.

I went to Izumi with my dad a day after my Sweet Sixteen. He decided to make up after inviting his guys over to watch a fight the day on my birthday. Anyways, food was amazing! I ordered the Tiger Roll and I loved how it tasted. The soup was outstanding. Best Soup I ever tasted. Our server also was amazing after telling her it was my birthday yesterday she got the robot to sing Happy Birthday and brought me ice cream with a candle. Best place ever! They really make birthdays feel special. Can’t wait to come back again!

The service was horrible and took way longer than necessary. The waitress was barely at the table. An hour after I ordered, I was asked again what I ordered, so they could get started. No refill and no asking how things were, just horrible service all around.

Had to wait 20 minutes for a to go orders. After it was supposed to be ready when I arrived.
Seems to be a pattern and something to be addressed. Other than that food is fine. Service is fine enough for what it is
30 minutes of waiting and still my orders aren’t ready.

This was my first visit to Izumi’s, and while there were definitely some positives, there were also a few drawbacks that would make me think twice before returning.

I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken, which was priced at $20.99. While the quality of the food was solid, the chicken was tender, the marinade had a great flavor, and the vegetables were cooked nicely, I felt the portion size and quality didn’t quite match the price. It seemed a bit overpriced for what was actually served.

The fried rice was underwhelming. It barely had any vegetables and tasted more like plain rice with a light sauce rather than a flavorful, well-mixed fried rice dish. I was expecting a bit more depth and variety there.

One thing that stood out in a good way was the service, our server was friendly, attentive, and quick. The atmosphere was also enjoyable. It wasn’t overly noisy, which made it easy for our table to have a conversation without yelling over background noise, a big plus in my book.

However, the menu was confusing and hard to navigate. It listed only the names of dishes with no descriptions or photos, which made it difficult to know what you were ordering, especially for first-time visitors or those not familiar with Japanese cuisine. This lack of clarity also makes the restaurant a tough choice for people with dietary restrictions, such as gluten intolerance. There were no indicators or labels for allergens or special dietary options, and no guidance from the menu itself.

Overall, while there were some highlights like the service and ambiance, the pricing, menu clarity, and lack of accommodation for dietary needs make this a place I’d probably only return to if I knew exactly what I wanted to order.

The sushi was excellent for appearance, looking lovely and almost too pretty to eat. What the heck I am paying for it and I’m worth it. . The service was excellent and thy have one of those robots that will bring you some food. I wonder if these robots may pick up in AI and do strange things. Seriously this place is on the top five places I have tried and I have tried MANY of them because I have been making sushi myself.
