Had a lovely meal at this Ethiopian restaurant! Food was delicious and there is so much of it. We had the Doro Wot (which was next level with the cheese) and the Beef Wot tibs. I was craving the Doro Wot but I think next time I was the Beef Wot tibs or one of the meat and veggie combos. The Veggies really make the dish next level. Service was so friendly and the vibes in general are very homey. The tables are spaced nicely and very clean. The bar is super well lit and honestly just super pretty. But still there are lots of TVs and the lighting just makes it all feel very homey. Definitely recommend!

We tried one of the meat and veggie combos for 2 tonight. All of it was amazing! We really appreciated the differences in the spices between dishes, making each one a unique experience. I just wish this place was busier. The space was empty for so long, and the neighborhood needs gems like this!

I finished grocery shopping next door and decided to pop into tin cup, for the 1st time, to grab coffee to go. I stayed because the environment was so pleasant and Ahman was welcoming! He asked if i want a to go cup or the coffee ceremony – I had time to wait so I chose the ceremony and im so happy I did. The Ethiopian coffee ceremony elevated my coffee drinking experience to the next level (look it up if youre unfamiliar) and I plan on coming back again soon!

I have been to a lot of Ethiopian restaurants, and this was by far the best meal I’ve ever had. I had the veggie platter and my partner had the first item on the beef entrée list. The flavor was phenomenal. The owner was super kind and wonderful. The only bad part is the place hasn’t had much traction yet. So we were the only people there. But that could be because Rice Street is closed… But it’s still very easy to get to. Highly recommended. Support this wonderful business!

I live in the neighborhood and brought my mom and sister. The food was excellent (we got a combo platter for two) and the coffee was absolutely fantastic! Definitely will be back.
