I bought some,to go, quesabirria tacos. They were delicious! I need to try them in the restaurant sometime as a meal. Well made and the man working last night was so polite and helpful. I got sauces even by his suggestion.

I went to this restaurant with some questionable coworkers/friends (HR would like to know our location), and the service was awesome. Our server literally looked at my girls carne asada, judged it harder than we judge each other’s life choices, and brought her an extra piece because “the cut was too small.” Iconic.
The drinks? Fantastic. Delicious. Potentially dangerous. (Jk!)

We had a good lunch dining experience. The food was good and service was very friendly. The atmosphere is sports bar esq. The service is only at the bar or register and there are no wait staff. So if you want something you have to go ask.

If you’re looking for the best casual Mexican food in the entire valley, look no further! This place absolutely nails it. The restaurant itself is modern and inviting, with a great bar area and a huge TV perfect for catching a game while you eat. Bonus: kids eat free on Mondays, making it an awesome family spot. There’s even a cute and funny photo op area!
The food? Absolutely delicious. The self-serve salsa bar is genius, and has great additions of onion, radish, and cilantro. Everyone in my family has a different favorite salsa, and this way, nobody has to compromise. Everything is beautifully plated, and the attention to detail is evident in every dish. And don’t skip dessert, the classics here are worth it and the perfect ending to an amazing meal.
The staff are super helpful, friendly, and attentive, making the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. Even watching the orders go out to other tables, everything looks incredible! Very nice place, with well-made food, outdoor seating, simple but very flavorful, salsa bar to dress it up. Small bar in the corner with a large sports TV. I recommend focusing on the birria. This is my second time here, and I’ll be back again.

I had exceptionally high hopes for this place after seeing a local influencer review it on Instagram. These were short lived upon walking in, we were handed menus and told to pick any table we wanted. We chose our items and sat there before realizing that we had to order at the counter.
Ordered some very uncomplicated dishes, 3 street tacos 2 shredded chicken 1 carnitas, a birria torta, and 3 kids meals. The chicken tacos were cold, as were the rice and beans, the birria torta was sopping wet with grease and not in the good way. They also did not have consumé for the birria torta. The kids meals were so easy that McDonalds couldn’t mess them up, the fries were oily and you could tell the oil temp was way too hot as the fries were not cooked through.
The restaurant itself has great potential, however the staff seems to be filling many roles, there was only one guy and one lady running the entire front of house, taking orders, bartending, dealing with online and to-go orders and running food. This lack of staffing resulted in tables not being bussed.
Which is likely not a fault of theirs as they seemed like they were trying their hardest to keep up.
At the end of the meal, the gentleman working front of house I think could sense my frustration or maybe I would call it utter disappointment and came over with some churros for my kiddos at no cost, this was a nice touch, unfortunately it was quickly soured as when my oldest bit into one she noted it was doughy on the inside. I feel like the potential is there for this place to excel, however when I am paying prices comparable to a true sit down Mexican restaurant I expect quality.

Had an awesome experience at Metztli! The food was so good and full of flavor, everything we tried was a hit. The vibe was great and the whole experience felt really thoughtful and well done.
Shoutout to our server Bryan for being amazing. He was super friendly, knew the menu really well, and made great recommendations without being pushy. He made us feel comfortable and taken care of the whole time.

Great new restaurant! The food is great. The staff is friendly. Easy parking and accessible seating. Easy menu with lots of options, including keto. Jason, the manager, is bilingual and friendly. He can help you find what you want to eat. The bar is well stocked, and the bartenders are friendly. Several big screens are hung around the restaurant to allow everyone to see their favorite sport being played.

I went in Friday night to try it for the first time. It was busy enough for the tables to all be filled. So, I was expecting it to be good. The person behind the counter was running around so we were waiting to figure out how things worked (there were no clear indicators of if we sat ourselves or were sat). As we waited, a man walked up to us and hands us a card each. We asked what they were. He said that there was a wait so he was giving these out to order online. It was a $10 off card. We debate but head back to our car to order online. We place our order that stated it would be ready in 15 mins. We wait. But, then our order gets pushed another 45mins. This put us in an uncomfortable situation. But, we wait. We show up to pick up our order at the new time stated in the message. The man infront of us seems to be having some problems with his order at the counter. During this time, again, the people behind the counter are running around and we are left without direction of how to get our order. After several minutes, we are addressed by someone at Metzli and we finally get our semi warm food that seems to have been waiting for us a while. When we are getting our salsa to take home, one of the employees bumps into my husband hard, but doesn’t seemed to care as they continue running around. We left as soon as we could because we were uncomfortable. When we got home, we realized that we were missing the chips we ordered. We hope the food is at least worth the wait. It really isn’t. It was soggy, “meh” tasting food. Overall, it was a bad experience to give this place a try.
