Housed in the old Leslie’s Drug Store/ Downtown Grill building on the historic Oxford, MS Square. The newly renovated space is home to the “Up-scale Down-home” fare of Bouré. Decidedly Creole in its overall scope, the restaurant isn’t easily labeled. A bustling, casual dining room and balcony, attentive service and an outstanding menu elevate Bouré to something greater than just another college joint. Bouré is for everyone from a college date night to a special dinner with the family.
Bustling eatery with balcony seating serving up Creole fare & drinks in casual digs.

Great experience but definitely not cheap. A nicer dinning room downstairs or the bar and balcony upstairs where you can seat yourself, both are very comfortable with great atmosphere. The drinks were great especially the dill pickle martini and so was the food! The grilled salmon was fantastic. Our waiter was kind, patient, helpful, and made the experience even better. Lovely place I’ll definitely be back to as a year round Oxford resident

We wanted to like, have been here several times before, but…. The chicken fried steak was overcooked as was the cheeseburger. The side fries were lukewarm and the Po-Boy was just meh. The side of fried pickles (not actually on the menu) were good but the backer was small.
The food took awhile but the place wasn’t crowded. Fully staffed which was appreciated as our server was attentive.
For the location, ambience, and price, it comes up well short of good, let alone great.

My first but definitely not my last visit to Oxford, Mississippi was amazing. My first dining experience was to Bouré Restaurant for lunch. To say the experience was top notch is an understatement. The restaurant was just updated and very nicely done. It is just charming. The salad I ordered, I can’t quit thinking about it. The chef who designed this dish is a pro. I have to go back just for the Sweet Heat Okra Bowl. A big shout out to our server Tad. Tad reflects the excellence the restaurant stands for.

The staff was very nice and friendly. We were greeted at the door and walked to our seats. Our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable about the dishes; very patient. Always made sure we were doing ok and our glasses were filled. I came in wanting shrimp and grits. The dish is different from other shrimp and grits that I’ve had in the past. It was very fulfilling and very tasty. Definitely a must have.

My wife absolutely enjoyed our recent visit to Oxford, and had the pleasure of dining at You’re on two occasions. The southern gare was spectacular, we enjoyed gumbo, jambalaya, and an expertly prepared beef tenderloin. For drinks we enjoyed the Lane, a well prepared drink as described. Shout out to the fine gentleman, Cameron who served us with great hospitality. We came back for the gumbo on two additional visits, before and after Oxfords wonderful Christmas parade.

Update: Returned for shrimp and grits and friend had okra salad – they knocked it out of the park.
Great place for group gathering – we were able to talk and hear each other . Excellent, knowledgeable server helped with food selections and gluten free choices. My brisket plate was delicious, and the sweet potato fries were more crispy than flabby, like I like ’em. Highly recommend. 5 (pic is of my leftovers )

Oh my! The shrimp & grits – not sure what they put in the sauce and they won’t tell, but it’s decadent. The catfish was fried perfectly and had plenty of crawfish on top but I would ask to substitute the sauce for the shrimp and grits sauce next time. I enjoyed the grilled okra, the husband didn’t agree (but he’s partial to fried okra, so consider the source). Our server, Robert, was wonderful and just topped off the experience.

Highly recommended! We always start with the New Orleans Shrimp for an appetizer, but they go so fast I forget to get the photo. The spinach and artichoke dip is more creamy fresh than the gooey cheesy dips at other places. Fish is fresh. The catfish is delicious. The crawfish potpie is a different experience worth trying at least once.
Great staff with a knowledgeable group of bartenders. They are kid friendly but still maintain an adult atmosphere.

The gumbo was tasty. Crackers were okay and would have been better with a four inch piece of po boy bread. The fried popcorn appetizer was good. *it needed a piece of white bread under shrimp to absorb grease. I would have also served or asked if tartar sauce was preferred. The cocktail sauce was too spicy to consume. The coconut cake was excellent. Our server, Jenna, did an excellent job and checked on us as needed during our visit.
