I had an awesome experience at Bun Buddies in Wood Ridge! The service was outstanding—quick, friendly, and really attentive. I ordered the Double Special Buddy and the Chicken Buddy with shoestring fries, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying.
The atmosphere was inviting from the moment I walked in. There’s plenty of space for dining in, and the addition of a few arcade games gives the place a fun, relaxed vibe. It’s the perfect spot to hang out, grab a great meal, and enjoy the environment.
I’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend! ✨

I was working in the area and tried it. I wasn’t disappointed I got the lava burger very flavorful and big. I also got the coleslaw also very delicious. I met the owner great guy. Would definitely recommend this place.

Great place to get a quick bite. Elizabeth and I came in for lunch. We each ordered burgers Liz got the classic and I got the special. I was happy I got the pickle relish on the side .

Bun Buddies is 10/10 whether it be an in person order or through a delivery platform. The restaurant is clean, the food is very good quality & doesn’t leave you feeling heavy. Their gluten free bun(not pictured) doesn’t fall apart or get soggy either!!! Get the special buddy & make it a double !

Came here with my husband twice already as it’s the best burger I’ve ever had. I had the special buddy both times. Their special relish and sauce combination they put on it is amazing. You can tell everything is super fresh and what makes it even better is their cheese fries. I’m a huge sucker for cheese fries and am pretty picky. I love these! I can’t wait to go again.

Man, this place just became our new favorite spot. We went for my wife’s birthday and it honestly couldn’t have gone better.
Right off the bat the owner/chef came over, super chill and friendly, and when we mentioned celiac he didn’t just nod politely, he actually knew his stuff. Talked us through their dedicated gluten-free fryer setup, how they change oil, separate everything, the whole deal. You could tell he’s dealt with this a ton and really cares about getting it right. That alone made my wife relax and actually enjoy the meal without stressing.
The fries? Insane. Crispy, perfectly salted, and you’d never guess they’re gluten-free. Easily some of the best fries I’ve had anywhere, period.
I got the Molten Lava Burger and holy crap it was ridiculous. That gooey, oozing cheese center mixed with the juicy patty is straight-up dangerous. I was in heaven.
They’ve also got two old-school arcadeand our kids were glued to them the whole time. Kept them happy, kept us from having to entertain them every second, and honestly I ended up playing What are you doing? too. Such a cool little touch.
Everything about the night felt thoughtful and fun. Great food and safe for celiac. Its 100% worth it. We’re already planning the next visit. OK
