Ordered takeout for Thanksgiving since we were feeling a little burnt out for cooking this year and Hong Minh did an amazing job! The roast duck was wonderful, the Singapore mei fun was perfect, the Mongolian beef was delicious and spicy, and the fried chicken was so crispy and flavorful. We really enjoyed our delicious meal!

Lived in Hong Kong for over eight years—Chow Fun and salt fish & chicken fried rice are my favorites. So happy to find such an authentic hometown taste in New Orleans. Highly recommended!

The food here is very authentic, bursting with rich flavors and cooked with great care. Every dish we tried was super, super good! Perfectly seasoned and full of taste that really stood out. It’s the kind of meal that makes you want to savor every bite. We truly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be coming back for more!!!

This is the Cantonese food I’ve been looking for for awhile! I love their food! It’s the authentic Cantonese cuisine and I recommend their Roasted Duck and Beef Chow Fun! Only $19 for roast duck, and $16 for the beef chow fun, and salted fish and chicken fried rice for $14. Super delicious and tons of food, we have to get few boxes to bring it back home!

This restaurant really is a hole in a wall. I was a little skeptical when I arrived here because of how sketchy the outside was and how outdated the inside was, but the service was still nice and the food was really good. We got the Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings ($13.00), the Beef Chow Fun ($17.00), and the Roasted Duck Noodle Soup ($13.00). All three dishes were freshly made and had huge portions. Hong Minh isn’t a fancy place, but I’d still give it a chance if you haven’t tried it before.

Wow. Very authentic food. Every meal we have had here has been excellent. This is my new favorite lunch spot. I have yet to take the wife here for dinner but she has had leftovers many times so far and loved everything also!
The amounts of food they give you are huge. Definitely big enough to split or have some good leftovers.
Seriously go eat here!

Comfy and inviting. Cozy down home feel. Lunch specials and appetizers. Extremely tasty chiso and pork dumplings. Tender chicken. Absolutely delicious. Tasty hot tea. Warm and friendly staff quickly whet our appetite. And the price was very very very very very very reasonable. Thank you so

By far the best wonton soup in all of New Orleans. Wontons are handmade and bursting with flavor. Broth is flavorful and not too salty. Greens in there are perfectly cooked. That said not everything here is equally good. The roast pork looks better than it tasted — didn’t have much of a bark / crust on it. And the fried rice that came with the lunch special tasted stale. I’ve been here many times — their Singapore Mai Fun is great as are all their green vegetable dishes.

This restaurant is off the beaten path. The roasted duck here is really flavorful and the empress chicken is pretty good. (Pretty fresh too since it was served with a few feathers still attached) I really liked their beef chow fun. It had a lot of wok flavor. My negative would be the wonton soup. Bland and i did not like the flavor of the wontons. It was a decent lunch overall if you happen to be in the area and looking for a more authentic asian meal.
