Ordered the Sichuan Beef and some pork dumplings. The dumplings were fine, about what you would expect, however the issue was the Sichuan Beef. It had no flavor, no ginger, no spiciness whatsoever. The menu had a pepper beside it so it was supposed to have a bit of kick and flavor to it. Highly disappointed.
The best part of the BEEF dish were the vegetables. Let that sink in. All in all, good service but the food was lacking, especially for the price.

They serve unlabeled imitation meats.
Lychee was always my best backup plan when my favorite spot is closed, but most recently I ordered fried scallops and had a severe allergic reaction from eating a single piece. I do not have a shellfish allergy, but am allergic to several kinds of white fish. I looked it up, and there are imitation scallops on the market made entirely of white fish. Their menu specifies imitation crab (made of exactly the same thing, surimi), but does not make any such disclaimer about the scallop. Maybe their supplier is ripping them off, because when called to ask what type of fish their scallops are made of the woman on the phone got into a very (one sidedly) hostile argument with me saying they are genuine scallops. So… OK. I can’t really trust the food here anymore if that’s the attitude when we call not even to blame them but just to figure out my allergic reaction.

Other places in town are OK but I prefer Lychee over them all. The service and people are amazing. They deliver, which is always a blessing for days I don’t want to drive out. The food comes fresh and hot! They do their best to honor requests or special requirements and not overcharge an add-on. Prices are comparable to others in the area. Need I say more? Every box is check on my list of what I’d consider good eats all around.

this is one of my two favorites for Chinese take out. As an added bonus, the staff helps me with my Chinese pronunciations. I get to learn a few words each time.
This is also one of the few places that if you go in and ask for them to make something extra spicy, they actually do it.
I can also say this, I have done work in many of the commercial kitchens, and while it’s been almost a decade since I’ve done a wiring job in a Chinese restaurant kitchen, the kitchen at Lychee was clean. That’s a huge plus.

I stopped in for lunch after getting groceries. I was honestly surprised how good it was. Everything seemed fresh and not overcooked. The sauce was tasty and not overcomplicated overly sweet. Also these days if you can get a lunch and drink for $8 not bad at all. That’s cheaper then a quarter pounder meal!

Food was terrible!!! General tos chicken was so tuff and didn’t even taste like chicken at all . Crabmeat Rangoons were terrible and hardly even had anything inside of the tuff outside , Gross I will never go back again !!! First and last time , waste of my money over thirty dollars .
